Now why would that little scene be considered leakage? Its just as I expected..Venom comes into play prolly right at the very very end.

Just like James Franco discovering his fathers room at the end of the 2nd.

The Beyonder (who came from a universe where he was all that there was) wanted to know which was stronger, good or evil.

The planet is composed of many different pieces taken from alien planets.

While there, Spidie's suit gets trashed, so he goes out looking for something to fix it (among all the alien technology) and runs into the alien which he ends up taking back to earth with him.

I know I've talked a lot about "aliens", but none of it takes place in Mexico.

Love the last line.

Though I wish the movie could go along with the comic book, I understand why it didnt.

It would take too long and, in short, would feel like a science fiction movie. Now, I know I wouldnt mind, but it doesnt sell to a broad audience like the current angle does.

In the trailers, they never really show where the suit comes from, just it overtaking him.

I wouldnt be surprised if they didnt really explain shit about Venom until 4.

I haven't read anything on it, but they'll may make it some kind of human created substance. Like in Ultimate spider-man, the "venom" suit was supposed to analyze ones body when worn, and then use a person's own abilities and anti-bodies to cure cancer and other ailments.

Or it may land fly to earth as an asteroid or something, and they take it to a museum or whatnot, and it escapes and peter finds it.
Who knows.

He is a bit old too, I beleive the character has thick blond hair.
Let's see, I am one of the few who like him as an actor.

Hey, I was in the barber's office and saw a Carnage figure. I had to explain that it wasnt Venom and that it was Carnage. Can someone tell me how Carnage comes into play again...?
 
Are any other MArvel movies expected w/in the next 3-4 months besides Ghost Rider and spidey 3? I'm stoked for the Wolverine spinoff movie and Batman Begins sequel. Shit,let's bring abck TMNT too!

Good post, I remember hearing about that now. I don't mind seeing it in CGI, we all know those costumed ones of the 90's sucked.

Ghost Rider actually looks okay (except his hair is black in the movie?).... if you watch the blog the director is more than just a causal fan of the series.

This is why the new crop of comic-based movies are so good. The people making them are fans of comics.

Did you know that Nicholas Cage had to cover up his tattoo of Ghost Rider for the Ghost Rider movie?

I was always impressed with the way he was drawn up.

As a kid seeing biker movies, real bikers (not the dirty ones) and Johnny Blaze I became a big fan.

Cage also tried out for Superman I do believe.

Yep. I'm a fan of Nicholas Cage. :) Did you know that his father is Francis Ford Coppola? He changed his last name so that he wouldn't have to live in Hollywood under his dad's shadow.

I'm not sure that he tried out. I think that he was just considered for the role. I'm glad that he didn't get it though. He's all wrong for the part.

I remember reading that Tim Burton had actually shot something with Nicolas Cage as Superman (when he was hired to direct) and was unhappy with the results so he didn't accept the project. I also agree that Cage would have made a terrible Superman. I haven't seen the newest Superman movie, but I'm sure new dude beats Cage.

Cage rocks, he just isn;t a super hero. I loved him in the weatherman and matchstickman.

I didn't see those, I did like Con-Air.....in fact I liked a lot of hos movies.

I remember his first one, Valley girls was it?

Everything you've said is 180º oposite of my opinion. Spidey 2 sucked, Xmen was great, and the new batman was the best yet. FF4 was the only thing you were close on, that movie sucked.

Also, DOMS, don't forget the Punisher, he killed all the bad guys too. His movie wasn't great, but I still own it. :)
