EH, it's not so funny to me because we had an Aussie Sheep Dog and she had the same intent look on her face I think it's a trait trained into them for when they have to herd the sheep. If they blink they could miss one little telegraphed motion that tells them which way they need to cut to. Don't get me wrong it is pretty hilarious when you first see it but I've seen it so often.
You guys would laugh at my Eskies, they are like cats. They are always licking themselves, not just their crotch like other dogs but all over. They preen their feet, lick their legs even kciking one up in the air like a cat. They also lick their front paws and then wipe their faces. They absolutely hate to get dirty when I potty trained them they would tip toe around a puddle of pee on the paper, and they avoided stepping on poo like a plague. If they even got one little spot of pee n them they would jump away from the paper and lick it off. I only have to bath them about every 3 months.
Now my Belgian Malinois is a different story, she'll trounce through any thing. It took forever to potty train her and she didn't care if she stepped in shit. We always had little poo prints leading away from the paper. One day I caught her in the yard rolling in a pile of crap without a care in the world....but I still love her.
