I think I seriously pulled, strained a tendon right above my elbow. It only hurts when I lift but pain been preety discomforting ending workouts early.I took two days off thinking that would be enough but guess it wasn't.I baught some horse muscle ligament cream helps a lot but not enough and been icing it a lot but pain just won't go away.Should I take a week off and just do light legs,Abs,cardio?Has anyone ever experienced this before?

Lots of people Just take more time off and remember RICE. stands for Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation

Sucks because I'm coming off blast trying hold gains.

Ice for the first 2-3 days is good, it reduces the blood flow and helps reduce inflammation. After that, I have found that heating the area helps to speed healing. If you can find a Chinese market near you, try Kwan Loong oil. You can also get it from Amazon if need be. It has a camphor base to it, smells a bit but is great to warm the area up and increase blood flow to speed healing.

I'd also recommend neoprene elbow sleeves if you don't use them now. I put a tiny bit of Kwan Loong on my elbows, slip on my sleeves and go to work. Just my advice, hope it helps.

I think I strained a tendon or ligament in my arms as well. I have severe pain in my antecubital region of both my arms. It has been for 10 weeks. I used to be able to curl 140lbs+ on a damn olympic bar with moderate form and now i struggle to curl 30lbs.

That being said, I have trained through the pain. Some weeks it is BAD other weeks it isn't as bad. I tried the time off method (rested for 2-3 weeks, no change). Hell, I am just going to work through it... Have been beatin' ass for 8 weeks, and my arms still work...kinda

Here is some DO's and DONTS:
- Warmup A lot. I noticed the better my warmup the less the pain
- listen to your body, if it feels more sensitive one day then avoid it
- emphasize the workouts that aren't painful
- watch the drugs, if you are on AAS be careful about painkillers they can be hard on the liver
- ICE that girl up
- Don't overwork your damaged area.

I'm go to doctor forsome antiinflamtory mess tomorrow
