Any one know of any good creams or anything to help make stretch marks not very visable?

There is nothing you can really do for them... Do a search.

Mederma, cocoa butter are SUPPOSED to help....

Tan or get Microdermobrasion

bust open some Vitamin E caps and rub that over the area! :)

Abdominal plasty USUALLY gets rid of them. It depends on the following:

A: Your skin elasticity
B: How far your stretch marks go up
C: I'm sure they are more reasons

Me for example. I have stretch marks(not very noticable.) They end just before my belly button. I have NO skin elasticity there so, I can only have a Minni abdominal plasty vs a full. Even after a mini I'll still have some visual stretch marks. They just won't be as high up. NOW, if I had skin elasticity there, I could get a FULL abdominal plasty, which will eliminate ALL of my stretchmarks.

Mini tuck - Cut just below the belly button....then upper skin portion stretched down and closed.

Full tuck - Cut is made just below the rib cage.

Prince -- I take it your wife is in the same boat as me. Sucks!

yeah, she just had plastic surgery about 6 weeks ago on her stomach to tighten the stretched skin, he did a great job. The only problem is the strech marks, and everyone she has asked said there is nothing that can be done.

I'm sure those types of surgery is expensive. I have stretch marks on my stomach from gaining 12'' on my waist in 12 months. They have faded over time and when I tan they are not that noticable. I just hope when I diet down I don't have extra skin there. I will be so pissed off because I don't have the money to pay to have the skin cut off. I guess I will just have to keep making my muscles bigger and bigger until the skin is used up. LOL

I actually am home recovering from a full abdominoplasty (among other things) and the cut is actually from hip bone to hip bone. And while the skin is nice and tight it didn't get rid of all of the stretch marks. I did receive a new belly button and am advised to wait a year and go back in and try to pull a little more skin down once the site heals and the skin that's in place now has had a chance to stretch so that they'll be able to get rid of the few remaining stretch marks.
It's massive surgery and very painful, definately not a surgery to take lightly.

Ouch

Oh my God Sara; after reading your post, my abs and stomach just felt like mush. I'd be guessing no fitness comps for you this summer? In any case, hope you feel better very soon........................

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
ahh, thanks f1t.
This has been an interesting adventure and once I'm healed we'll see if it was worth it.
Nope no comps for me this summer, but I'll be attending every one of them(near me) to cheer everyone on and to watch what the judges are looking for, that way I'm better prepared for when I do come back lol.

Liquid Vitamin E, Cocoa Butter, and Mosturizing cream has helped fade mine a little. Or maybe there just fading because of time, I donno  But it seems like that's workin.
