I noticed that there were a couple forms used for the sumo deadlift, and I'm not sure which one is the right one. Anyway, here was one video that I saw:

YouTube - Sumo Deadlift 465x3

I saw that form being used in a lot of the other videos as well. Then I saw another form being used:

YouTube - 100KG Sumo Deadlift (Form Check!)

It seems like in this version the legs come down further than in the other form. From websites that I've been, some have one and some have the other as the correct form. Just wanted to know what you all thought.

Both were performed correctly. Pick the one that feels most comfortable to you. I perform deadlifts like the guy in the first video, because it feels more natural to me, and seems to hurt my lower back less.

I say try both, and go with the one that feels the best.

The first vid is more of a SDL with a very wide stance. If you notice he uses very little leg and mostly all back/hams. Either variation shown works, with the first video having less quad involvement. Depends on what you want to work. You should be able to lift more using the first example because of the reduced ROM (unless you have very strong quads).
