Supplements at young age?

I'm 15 and I am on a mild routine, nothing serious. Just trying to build some muscle. Are there any supplements that I should take? I took protein for a while that a friend gave me. I used it all and never got anymore.
 
Protein would be the most important. Try and get at least 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight.

So, if you weigh 150lbs you should consume 150grams of protein per day. If you eat 5 times per day that would be 30 grams of protein at each meal.
 
if your having problems getting enough protein then buy a protein powder.
 
FastForYa, I started lifting when I was 14-15 and I will be 16 in May and I just started taking the suppliments. If you want to gain some weight, I took the GNC Weight Gainer 2200 Gold. It has everything you need, 2000+ calories, I think 50g of protein, creatine in it, amino acids, it has everything you need. But like Prince said, you need 1g of protein per pound, so just take one in the morning, after your workout and before bed and you should be fine, and remember to eat right. Hope I helped you out.


p.s. I wanted to do the same thing, just lift to get some muscle, but once you start lifting you get a "rush" and you'll soon want to lift because you like it. That's probably how everyone here started. Good luck.
 
Thanks for your advise guys. I know protein comes in many flavors. What is the best tasting? I used to put some chocolate or strawberry syrup in mine when I used it before.
 
taste will vary from company to company.just to give it a more creamy taste mix it with 2% milk or 1%, eas simply whey isnt that bad.or optimum's whey is good as well.
