Hi, I'm 17, 6 foot 2 and way 187lbs and have been bodybuilding for about 5 months now around 4 times a week at around an hour a session.
I have been taking protein basically since I started working out. I started having one straight after every session and then after a month or two started to have one in the mornings as well. Recently I purchased bsn's cell mass which is meant to be taken after workouts however, I was wanting to get as many opinions as possible on some questions I have.

1) When is the best time to take protein? and is it worth having two a day?
2) Can you mix cell mass in with your Protein or should you wait 45 minutes after taking cell mass to have your protein (thatâ??????s what Iâ??????ve heard).
3) It also says to take cell mass on an any stomach? However from what I have read on this site it is a lot more beneficial to eat before your workout. So if I had food say an hour before my workout and then in effect would be taking cell mass 2 hours after eating, would that be an empty stomach?

I know thereâ??????s alot of questions there, just trying to get as much answered as possible, any help would be greatly appreciated,
Cheers

Mate, ditch the cell mass, and grab yourself some CEE (Creatine ethyl ester, or creatine mono).. Its a damn sight cheaper and does the same shit.

You can have as much protein as you want, but if you have too much then it will be wasted, and most likely stored as fat.

Not enough, and you wont grow.
Work on either 1-1.5gm of protein per lb of bodyweight. then work backwards to fit in your EFA's and carbs..

Also I wouldnt call it bodybuilding. Just like to lift weights is all. When you get huge and ripped, call it bodybuilding

1.whenever, use it to meet your protein needs. post workout with carbs is a must.

2.take cell mass pre, or mix it with your protein. the only thing that makes it a post workout product is the label and the existance of no-xplode.

3.ignore it.

1) Have about 20-30 grams whey before you work out. For PWO, have about 40-60 grams whey along with about 70-80 grams fast digesting carbs.
2) Forget about BSN bro, they have a lawsuit on their hands regarding NOT CONTAINING the key ingredient (CEM3).
3) Try another creatine such as CEE, or Kre-Alkalyn, which both have some very good reviews to back them up. Also add a slow digesting carb along with your whey for your pre-workout meal such as sweet potatoes, brown rice, etc.

Oright well thanks alot for the tips.
So its not worth having protein in the morning? better of before your workout?
Cell mass says to take in the morning also, is this neccessary or not?
