After this cut I think I'll use sesamin, rk- 125 (rasberry ketones), and maybe lean green (green tea extract).

Anyone you have experience with or opinions on these NOT during a cut...thanks.

Sesamin appears to be a very good bet. The others ... hmmm... you basically want to avoid anything that works by enhancing insulin resistance.

On a cut, insulin resistance is GOOD because it spares muscle, but on a bulk it's BAD because it promotes fat gain.

This may rule out green tea. Not sure on the ketones.

Obviously creatine will be good, since it may enhance reglycogenation.

Perhaps ALA? And weirdly enough, a small amount of activity after you eat carbs - movement promotes translocation of GLUT-4 while reducing insulin output. This may be a very good thing to look for on a bulk - so for example, train, then sip your post workout shake while you're on the treadmill. Go home and eat, then clean the bathroom or go for a walk.

nni, how does it work to do this? Most fat loss supplements work, at least in part, by promoting insulin resistance. EC and clen both do this, as does caffeine by itself. GH does this also.

thanks, yay i'll keep the green tea and ketones for cutting...I don't really need my metabolism to be higher while bulking. ALA or r-ala I take somewhat regularly and forgot to mention.

lean xtreme is excellent for this.

Would a lower dosage such as 1 cap 2 or 3 times per day if I decided to try it out during a calorie surplus?

Checkout Glycobol it's a great nutrient partitioner.

lean xtreme is excellent for this.

Does the current lean xtreme solely contain 7-OH and is this promoted as having similar effects but more effective than 7-oxo dhea?

Nate, I cannot strongly enough emphasize the significance of modest postprandial activity as a partitioning aid. I had long believed the ensuing reduction in blood sugar was due to it being "burned off" by the activity. It isn't, at least not to any appreciable degree - what's happening is increased glucose transport to the muscles. In other words, it can actually enhance partitioning. Try it.

I believe it. I will keep this in mind. thanks
I like the simple G-flux idea, this reminded me of.

lean xtreme is a cortisol control product. it will supress cortisol and work with the thyroid. we did a set of logs for bulks and it works great. it is best served on a cut or a recomp style (burn fat gain muscle actually happened), but it does well in a bulk as well.

i would do 2 a day, drop the pm.

current lean xtreme is more than simply 7-OH...

Green Tea Extract (50% EGCG), Coleus Forskohlii (40% Forskolin), Phosphatidylserine 45%, 5-AT (5-Etioallocholen-3b,7b,17b-Triol), 7-OH (3b,7-Dihydroxy-5-Etioallocholen-17-One)

it is excellent.

I can certainly vouch for sesamin

tastes great too

My suggestion would be Essence EFA, RK as you mentioned and lean xtreme sounds great I like the Coleus Forskohlii inside of it.

I'm currently on TTA, RK, Coleus Forskohlii and will be adding Essence EFA to my stack.

Built, i'd understand if it's a hassle but could you expand on "postprandial activity" a bit. I've never heard of this but i know i'd find it interesting!!!

Thanks.

It means go for a walk after eating. Do some house cleaning. Basically do ANYTHING but sit on your ass. It will help shuttle the glycogen into your muscles.

Yessssss!

Wow, I was always told to sit and let your food digest LOL !
Very good information here :)

Not vigorous activity, just modest activity.

Built, what would be the effects of drinking 1-2 cups of Green Tea a day? I am trying to cleanly bulk, with as little fat gain as possible, maybe even lose a bit as I'm clearly over 10% body fat. I don't like the idea of not drinkin the tea as I have read alot on the overall health benefits, your take?

You're fine.

I don't think I'd be looking to supplement with capsules of it while cutting, but there may be very good reasons to do this anyway.

If you're looking to lose, you can't gain. Not sure what to offer you here. Maybe a slow recomp? UD2.0 at maintenance maybe?

Does that hold true though for someone who is 14-18% BF? I always thought the general rule for a male was muscle building (naturally) was attainable over 10%bf or so if the diet was right. As in, if someone was 20%, I thought they could continue to build muscle while losing fat as long as the fat didn't dip below 10% or so... am I an idiot?

I guess I just need to make up my mind...I just HATE the idea of busting my ass in the gym with heavy weights (even with lower volume) and not getting much stronger, just leaner. On the flip side, I would love to look better with my shirt off, but I am the type of guy that likes to feel gains in the gym every time I set foot in there (i know that's not the case, but I think you feel me).
