Well, I have hit the diet forum and I have been seeing a dietician for the past 3 months. I think he is also frustrated and he is beginning to show signs of favouring steroids. He is all out of ideas and tells me if nothing happens soon, then he will give up and let me take steroids. This guy is supposed to be the dietician for one of our football clubs.

I dont know what else to do! Even though I am not too big, I think I have reached my genetic limit.

He will "let" you take steroids? Is he going to get them for you?

He didnt say directly that he will get them for me yet, but I think he is hinting at the idea.

Australia seems pretty uptight about that stuff, Kuso may know some about that though, but even the legal supplements we have here being outlawed in Australia makes things like that seem unlikely since they risk trouble unto themselves, some doctors are sympathetic though, hmm. They "have" to test your levels and see if they are deficient however.

Zed, I believe the reason you feel "not hungry" is because you have not been eating enough or of the right kinds of food and your metabolism has slowed to a crawl. you must first eat the right kind of carbs, cut out sugar and make sure you get plenty of protein. Like the others said 5-6 small meals daily-minimum! I think if you do this, after several months you should see a difference! W8 and DP has a consultation thread here. For a small fee they will get you on the right track. I seriously think you need to give this a try if your serious about your diet!

Zed...you really need to address this appetite problem. Eating properly and in the right quantities will push you farther toward your genetic potential than taking steroids.

Perhaps your doctor could look into an appetite stimulating drug. Do some research.

I also believe that you need to find a way to get more calories in. You should always carry around some simple high calorie foods with you like nuts, seeds, and dry fruit. Also, find a protein powder that you really enjoy the taste of. Mix a few servings together and put it all in a big jug. Keep it in a cooler and take swigs from it all day. Keep a protein drink by your bed at night and drink it when you get up to piss.

Find a way...make it happen...you will if you want it badly enough!

Thanks guys,
I have been doing the 6 small meals daily thing and my appetite is slowly increasing. I have lost 3 inches from my waist but I have also lost size from my shoulders, legs and chest (this depresses me a lot). I will continue to do my best and follow your recommendations, however the bottom line is, I think I will need some chemical intervention at some stage.

Man I hate losing sleep waking up at night, but it has been happening for the last 2-3 weeks, protein drinks galore probably.

How many grams of protein are you up too now Zed? Spread through each meal?

I've made some of my best gains this way! Whats so freakin funny

Here is some advice a nearly 300 pound guy, 6 foot formerly 137 pounds when he started lifting, was giving to someone who met a stalemate (albeit larger than yourself, but the point is, food not drugs!)

Mondo I find 9.5 out of 10 times that someone stops gaining its his diet that is the problem. Eight out of 10 times that same lifter wrongly thinks he is overtraining or his workouts are off. The other 2 out of 10 times that person thinks his supplements or 'juice' is the problem. I keep trying to brainwash people SUPPLY AND DEMAND, SUPPLY AND DEMAND--if you can make a demand (hard enough training) you can meet the supply (abundance of protein grams). I love when people come to me with this problem of not making gains anymore and they go thru this intricate workout, supplement, and sauce fix and all i say is "double the serving size on all your protein drinks and make sure the post workout drink is 100grams at least." Boom! they take off gaining again. I know you don't know me from adam but trust me on this one. Food (protein) is your anabolic. Anyone in this forum who is at a true stalemate, I ask you to try 500 grams a day of protien for 6 months and then come back in here and tell me what you look like. Training is the engine, food (protein) is the gasoline and juice is the Nitrous oxide system. Mondo i would say hit 2 grams per lb of bodyweight that you want to be=500grams. That could be about 200-250 in protein drink grams and you can easily eat the rest
