The language issue is only one part of it. What's even worse is that they're dragging down the area that the move into to a third-world state.
And I'm sick and tired of seeing Mexican on nearly every package in the stores and signs in public places; and I in Utah!
If making English the official language slows this down one bit, it's worth it.

I like how DOMS called the Spanish language Mexican. However, I don't like how ABC assumes that everyone who speaks a foreign language is illegal. You need to go out and meet people. Didn't you say you lived in NYC? Of all people shouldnt you be used to a multicultural society?
Now if you go back and backtrack a few months you'll find me supporting this bill and idea, so don't get me wrong. The Republicans added on clauses near the back end of this bills crunch period that got it trashed. Thank them, stop this "bah, democrats" bullshit.
Also, this is one of those things used to bring the uber morally swayed back to the republican side. Zombul was a great example. Iraq, economy, foreign relations all in the shitter? Let's bring up a bill about flag burning to bring people back to the conservative patriotic mindset! And you know a bunch of you were affected by it.
Now, back in that situation and the country starting to sway liberal, let's make another patriotic bill to morally swindle voters back towards us. When have you ever seen a flag-burning? Has flag-burning ever affected you? Does the american language have any affect on Iraq our any serious domestic affairs?

I've always tried to play the sides evenly, except when talking to clemson, but some of you need a reality check before you start all this "America! Woo! I believe they were Asian, in fact they may have been Mongoloids.
If you look at some Indians they do share some similarities with the Asians.

Is there a rule that states stuff needs to be printed in multiple languages? I know it often times is, but I think that is just a matter of customer service and left up to the business/property owners.
