where is the historical data that supports it's effectiveness in other country's or in the past?
where is the empirical data?
here's a hint? if the US is the only country in the OECD doing it in terms of economic policy, it "might" be bad for the working class. but then again what would you know about using comparative economics.
because not having overtime pay sure didn't work out for the US working class before the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 (FLSA), signed into law by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in '38.

If you used all of your vacation time, then tough. I want to be compensated for working 60-70 hour weeks. Some of us barely have time to take vacation time off, extra days off mean nothing.
Well said. This is yet again a way to take away money from the middle class and solidify the power for the oligarchs and corporations (private and public). Cantor is a fuck was, I never liked him and do even less now.
If they were truly interested in being fair and/or helping out workers, they would let them do that but let it accumulate as time and a half or double time. It kinda sounds like something a douchebag would say to a kid. "I'll give you these two 1 dollar bills for your one 5 dollar bill."
