Being the "best athlete" in the world requires probably 10+ years of performance in their sport. So this question applies more to single season records and/or individual event performances. That makes for an easy no.
Very simple; you are the best at any sport you choose for 5 years then DIE!
Do you get it now???
Heavyweight champ for 5 years, win all the top golf or tennis competitions for 5 years, Olympia 5x in a row.......is it sinking in yet???

I think he understands but you don't.
If you win the olympia 5x, you are above Zane and everybody but you need 6 to ty Yates and 7 to ty Arnold, 8 to ty Haney, and 926.271.038 to ty Coleman when he retires.
so with 5x you aint got shit and there fore not the greatest, and there fore the question is useless. because after 5 years you die without being the greatest.

I think you are a slave!!!! To be the best is not winning something the most . It is being the best!!!....Ali is considered the greatest heavyweight boxing champ ever! But he didnt defend his title the most...no, he didnt hold the title the longest, he wasnt the champ for the most years..........get it dummy :hmmm:

Now shut up and go make some more wooden shoes.

No, I wouldnt do it if I could be the best for 20 years.

The whole point is the work to get there. If something is so easy to obtain, then whats the point...Sure it would be crazy cool and fun for a while but then it wouldn't matter anymore.

Once you're at the top, the only way is down...And 5 years is a very short time.

Haha, calm down man. Are you on an AAS cycle?

All I'm saying is that to even be considered the "best" in any sport it requires some extent of sustained performance. Curt Warner was one of the best QBs for a couple of individual seasons in the NFL, but he is typically not considered one of the "best" ever to play football. Lots of other QBs beat him there. Hank Aaron never led his league in HRs for any single season. It was his sustained performance over 20+ years that made him the "best" slugger ever. Even with Ali, people look at his whole career before considering him to be the "best."

Now you see why your question is easy to answer "NO" for the majority of people thus far? A tougher question would be, "would you be willing to enjoy 20 years of being the best in your sport, only to die at age 42?"

how many wooden shoes did you make this week?

As of right now, I would do it, but not from a pill. If over the next 2 years my training or innate abilities somehow brought me to the top of a sport for 5 years, I would be saitisfied with that. Had I took a pill and that happened, they would develop a test and find out I took the pill, and then everyone would question the achievement.

Problem is, as the top athlete in a sport, you might meet some fine ass chick and want to marry her 4.5 years down the road and then you're screwed. Plus, in most sports you are paid for past performances so you wouldn't make shit to leave anybody. You would never realize your net worth in 5 years so you would leave wife and kids with a big shit sandwich with no mayo or mustard and I am sure they would get a death tax or something they can't afford, assuming a democrat is in power in 5 years which would have to be the case. I don't make shit now so a GOP is in the white house cutting taxes for people making good scratch, I won't make good scratch until a dem goes in and raises taxes on the wealthy.:)

next summer I'll get a tan......
I lost 1.5 inches ( 4 cm) in my waist so I'll be thin enough to go out and get a tan soon

Ah that's a lot better, just chilling in the sun :thumb:
You know over here that's just not going to happen, the sun shines all day but it's just not strong enough to get a real tan.
to get a real tan over here, we go to Italy, Monaco, Greece or Spain
