The greatest scene's in movie history.

American Beauty is the greatest movie ever made. A fucking fantastic film. How Anette Benning never got an Oscar for her role is beyond me, they gave it too Sharon Stone instead.. What a fucking joke..!!?

This is an amazing clip from American Beauty..

YouTube - plastic bag scene

I can't believe that this film is almost 10 years old.. Where did my life go.??

Keep posting these clips please.. Some of them are fantastic..!!

Did you see The Simpsons Movie..?? That was the biggest pile of horse shit i've seen in a while.. South Park totally beats down The Simpsons every time.

I totally, TOTALLY DISA-FUCKING-REE. I hated that scene and it couldve and shouldve been removed. That scene was a director's/writer's masturbation at its best. If that scene was removed from the movie, the story would never have skipped a beat.

That movie captivated me in more ways than any movie ever has...and then the movie took a small shit in the middle for no reason.

There was nothing wrong with that movie at all. My favourite scene was when Lester screamed at his wife "It's just stuff" regarding spilling beer on her $4,000 Italian couch, but i couldn't find that clip on YouTube.

If you have the DVD, listen to the Directors commentary, it's almost as good as the film.

Didnt you read me correctly? I said I was touched by that movie. The only conflict I have is with THAT particuliar scene. The isolation of that scen was eve around before you pointed it out. I ALWAYS hated it. It really does not belong. Some people could make fun of this movie cuz of that 1 scene.

Other than THAT scene, it might be my favorite drama.

Jaws is my favorite movie ever. I NEVER pick favorites of ANY kind. Books, music, TYPES of music, even tit size, I cant do it, But I did choose JAWS.

I came to this conclusion during another poll of what movie is scariest. After reading someones pick of JAWS, I was convinced.

Everyone knows the musical score and after everyone saw that movie, theyve thought about it whenever theyve swam outside. Thats a huge impact. Not to mention it has a GREAT story, GREAT music, You cant get a better agonist (Rupert) and antagonist (Quinton) in a movie. And lets not forget, the best endings of all time.

Sucks that mythbusters busting that myth.

It's a gooder. Good story, great casting.

It really is. Its a pioneering movie too. Neverf seeing the actual shark until past half way in the movie and its effective? Yeah thats a tough task.

However, it really is a scary movie. Because of that movie, I can and with given enough time, always think about that movie when I am in a natural body of water. When I think of the movie, I get scared. And I can feel that everytime.

Kinda like when youre walking to your car or your house and you just fuck around and convince yourself that someone is chasing you. So you try to be fast with your keys...you might even run up to your car or house. When you do that, youre scared. Of course its self-induced, but when the thought of a movie does it...even if its not in a normal, common state (swimming), you can still get scared.
