I was reading boilermaker's journal earlier tonight and came across an entry where he was describing his meals of the day. Anyhow, I read that he had eaten a turkey wrap for one of his meals and suddenly got the urge to make a wrap. However, since I had just got done working out an hour or so earlier and hadn't taken a shower yet, I did not feel much like driving to the grocery store to buy tortilla wraps, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc.. I had also already had my previously made chicken breasts and brown rice sitting around waiting to be eaten.. but I could just not turn this craving off. So I looked around my place to see if there was anything I could substitute for making a wrap. To make a long story short, I made mini-wraps out of single slices of bread.

I spread some natural peanut butter on a slice of 12 grain whole wheat bread, then sprinkled some Fiber One on the peanut butter, spread evenly through the slice. I know this sounds sick, but I had previously tried this before just to experiment (hey, I'm a college student, that's what we do -- plus I had to mix things up to make sure I didn't go crazy eating the way we do), and I liked the crunch it added. I diced up the chicken breast I had made earlier and put it in it the sandwich along with some spoonfuls of brown rice. I then folded the slice of bread the best I could and started chomping away (you're going to need a plate :D ).

I made and ate 3 of these :nanner: . These things were loaded.. 400 calories alone in just the 3 slices of bread. Probably used about 300 or so calories worth of natural peanut butter, another 200 in the chicken, and 300 or so in brown rice (I ate some of this stuff separately before making the mini-ghetto-wraps). Good thing I am bulking :D.

Anyway, I had to post this since I know everyone is always looking for ways to mix up their meals and this makes an awesome snack w/ all the macronutrients included (except alcohol of course!). I'm going to try this one again tomorrow. Thanks to boilermaker for the inspiration .
