I am a big believer in "what comes around goes around". But I gotta tell you, this has really destroyed my feelings on teaching. I need to deal with this but I just cant get some of the shit out my head. My boss even sided with the old bitch and said that I was time bomb waiting to explode. Well what the hell did they keep me around for another year? My supervisor didnt like me because I didnt baby the kids. I gave them consequences to their actions. The kids knew when they screwed around, they'd get me in their faces. They respected that. It does help me to know that after the fiasco, the kids went apeshit and gave the permenant sub a massive hard time as well as making her retire from teaching. It even makes feel even better that I found out that my dimwit supervisor bribed one of the kids with two bucks and he threw it back into her face yelling we want the old teacher back!!

As for newspapers? No actually, but you have given me something to think about!

The consequences thing sounds great. I am currently trying to undo years of not doling out consequences to my kids, BIG mistake. My daughter nearly stayed back this year because the teachers at her school are pussified to the point that the kids easily walk all over them. I had teachers that demanded my best and got it my kids deserve the same. I have a neighbor who is kinda tough with my kids and they adore him 99% of the time he simply doesn't tolerate them not doing their best which I think is very cool.

I was a relentless hitler type because if my students f-ed up, they knew I was going to be on them like stink on shit. My dad did it with me and I do with my son. My son is awesome at 16. He is respectful and loving and he cares about people. He is a bit of a smartass but he gets that from me.
I treat the neighbor's kids the way I was treated by my dad. He is the guiding force in my life-my wife is a close second. My point is-I treated these kids like family and it blew up in my face. I dunno-maybe I should have been more "pussified". NAAAAAAAAHHH

I just got done fuqqin workin out for 2 hours out in the hot sun. Today was my Delt, Lat, and Traps day . I killed 2 birds with 1 stone. I got a killer workout in and a suntan at the same time . So since my workout is done, now I can head down to the store and buy a lottery ticket too . I would love to retire now. What kills me is that the guy that owned a 7/11 around the corner from me won 65 million about 6 months ago... Lucky damn bastard... His wife was a nurse, and quit her job the next day. After he won, I never seen him again at the store I heard from my local bank (that he banked at as well) that he took all the employees out for a nice dinner .
Must be nice...
