Yeah david has a lot of class and as helped me more than Mystery. David is extremely intelligent, and his stuff makes sense, also. Davids stuff can help you be a better person where as Mystery can provide you with an arsenal of lines and approach material.
I study both. Maybe it will may off.

No it means would you rather subject yourself to the anxiety of the approach for 3 seconds or 30 seconds. Plus, if you stall the situation may go away, and the girls might disperse before you even get to say hello.
^^It's an attempt to get someone with a low-confidence level to at least try an approach. I think it's good psychology. You deny yourself the time to build up the importance of the other person in your mind, and in doing so, you come up to them on level terms. It's a good training tool.
When I started my first job sales job, I was terrified of cold-calling. I found the more I thought of calling someone, the more I played that situation out in my mind, the harder it was to pick-up the phone and call. Denying myself the time to over think and overanalyze the situation was very valuable. It's a good habit to develop. Basically it's an attitude of doing what you fear most first.

Yeah, that is a good way of explaining it. The more you wait, the more anxiety builds up. Akira, you don't have the same anxiety level that this material is meant for. You obviously do just well for yourself in the ladies department, and this material is meant more for people like me, a socially awkward type person.
But, still, this MYstery guy is a dickwad. That's just my opinion. Who on earth wears yellow pants? I think he's just doing that shit for the show so he doesn't get recognized in normal clothes.,,
I actually think he's very smart and very articulate with highly developed interpersonal skills, but what he's teaching is the quick fixes. Instead of giving you the info on how to learn the language he's teaching you tricks and pickup lines...sad.

Also, if yuou do it within 3 seconds, it doesn't give you time to overthink things. Whenever you over-think or get too involved in an idea you fuck yourself.

Ive had as much trouble as the next guy. My girls have always just been gotten based on my looks, but I am telling you, when I saw the episode where mystery tells the only good looking guy on the show "what do you do when you have to compete with another good looking guy? good looks will only get you so far." thats where I need help. I literally cave in and shut up, just like eacha nd every one of the guys do on the show.

I always used to wait a while before approaching a girl. My strategy was to make it seem like I was having a lot of fun and would be a fun guy to be around. When I saw a girl who interested me I would smile in her direction and start the show with my friends getting them to laugh, getting them to play pool, darts etc....while doing that I would still let her know that even though I was caught up with my friends I couldn't help but be distracted by her...eventually after building suspense I would walk by and say hello ,introduce myself and then continue on my original mission to get my friends drinks at the bar. On my way back I would ask if she and her friends wanted to join my friends, most of the time they would and then from there it was just a matter of working my way into her trust zone....This not only worked at bars, it would work at the beach playing volleyball or even at restaurants.... to me 3 seconds seems like you're too desperate, but I also prefer to make a little suspense work in my favor...
