How creative, now what is he gonna use it for. Hopefully this kid is an animal lover, but I have to imagine this is the type of kid who would turn it on the neighbors cat for the hell of it. Where is his parents, I mean you'd have to wonder why your son needs PVC pipe and what the hell all the sawing and hammering is all about. Maybe they'll ask themselves that same question when the damn thing explodes in his face.

the thread is really long but someone asked him about the parents thing - he said they were behind the camera and were superivsing him during the whole thing. What reason he had for making it I don't know, maybe just to say that he has/made his own frekin flamethrower! I mean that's impressive!
The parents are behind him, ok I give up. I don't know what to make of that then... The fucking parents are in need of some cage time, at least 3 or 4 years. Whatever that's just mind boggling.
With enough spare time, you can find lots of weird crap on the internet.
The thing that pisses me off most about this; is the fact that he could never use it as his school project. And he deserves the praise- not so much because its hard to make; and not because it has any good, practical use.. But because he had the balls to do it; and he did a pretty good job too.. I like the way he made the tank fit in a standard backpack. The gun itself lax in the looks area.. something so dangerous needs to look more menacing.. I think they had this in on of the ALIEN movies.. but I was too young when I saw them to remember now.. Anyways; Id work it into a pike design for an M4 Rifle; and attach it in the same spot as a bayonet/m203/ect.
Not to say I completely support this kid; I do see where alot of bad could come from this..

2) Thats horribly illegal.. And he posted pictures on the net! Of himself; himself making it, and himself using it.. LOL
3) Check the picture of him using the flamethrower on the street; see that prudential realty sign? So do other people.. That house will never sell now.
Aside from the danger hes placing himself in.. I cant see a problem with it. I highly doubt it will ever get used maliciously..

I must admit...I enjoyed making shit ( though not as spectacular visually, perhaps more effective ) after watching McGyver on several occasions.
