hey...im mike, 24, 5'11 155..have a thin/slim build and have ALWAYS had the problem of building mass...tried it all , shakes, supps, so now i was talking to a friend of mine and im thinking of ordering some Deca and Test...does anyone know if this is a good way to help build some quick mass and get myself some sort of body!!...im willing to work for it but i want it already! lol...also i was told sust will do it fast but i want to avoid taking that if possible,,,any help you can give will greatly be appreciated!!

when i tell you i tried everything, believe me i have....ive worked out for yrs straight and NEVER get anything but cut,,,no mass, and believe me, i can eat! lol...im just one of those people that is destined to be skinny all the time and i dont want to be anymore

Post your diet, I can almost guarantee your not eating enough :)

my diet...its pretty consistent
coem to work @ 830 have breakfast around 9 which is usually 2 or 3 bowls of cerial, fruit and milk,,,,if not cereal then a bacon egg and chees on a roll sometimes

then around 1230 ill get lunch...usually have some sort of meat, mostly chicken or a sandwich, salad, soup, chips and drink...when its not a sandwhich, once in a while ill get meat and pasta or something of that sort

the after lunch and before dinner, ill usually have more fruit, a doughnut, cookies...(usualy junk food but not a crazy amount)

then around 630 or so ill have dinner...always meat, veggies, potoaoes, salad, glass of milk, and water...and i eat alot at dinner

then sometimes for the rest of the night i may not eat anymore, or sometimes ill have a snack here and there....it just seems tho that any weight i do put on goes to my stomach or my ass...if only it would go to my chest or arms/shoulders! from the waist down im fine,,its from the waist up i wanna gain mainly chest arms and shoulders

I can tell you, as Jodi will, that you are not getting enough protein to grow (that is also providing that you are training properly to stimulate growth). You are only getting any real protein in 2 meals. You need to take in at least 6 meals per day with quality protein.

I am sure that Jodi is going to expand on this as well as on your carb choices.

even with those myoplex shakes...forgot to add those...that i have 1 in the a.m. and one before workingout

You got that damn right! You call that a bulking diet?????????? Please, first of all I eat more than you! What I eat is better food as well. You need to eat some more protein and healthier carbs. Where's the chicken, fish, steak, whey, oats, sweet potatos, brown rice etc.

You don't need steroids AT ALL you need to learn to eat properly

harsh but direct, i like that....but you see...ive been on strict diets in the past...all through college,,,gave up the meal plan to buy my own food, ate right, shakes, supplements, working out every a.m. for 3 yrs str8 and NEVER a difference (except for abs and a tight body, never mass)...thats what discourages me and continues to do so. im not saying i expect anything overnight but at the same time, to see nothing major after years,,just brings me down...i think it could be genetics and a HIGH metobalism

No excuse!

I bet a proper bulking diet would wonders on you. Check out the stickies at the top of the Diet & Nutrition forum. There are bulking plans in there and we can always help you with one. I would suggest that route before you try steroids cuz I don't see how a hard gainer like you is going to build mass with the food your eating

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
ill have to look those over...and im not trying to make excuses, im being blatently honest...i can tell you this,,i could eat nothing but FAT im talking mcdonalds for a week straight and not gain anything from that...thats how much my body sux!

Mike,

I understand your frustration, I was 110 lbs. when I started, you may have eaten properly in the past but it wasn't enough calories. You may think it is alot of food but it is not enough calories for your energy needs. Even if you take drugs you still need to supply the building blocks. Look at your training as well. Check out the MaxOT training program, it is on the AST website:

www.ast-ss.com

It is awesome.

ok this aside...since my diet now may not be proper, if i did do a proper diet,,,would the deca and test make it come faster then with nothing? not looking for the easy way out and i know die hard bbuilders may not be into the quick fix...but i just want to know cuz i want to start having more confidence in myself, and at this point i have the balls and am willing to do it

As my name implies, you should be able to tell that I don't think you need drugs, there can be some amazing gains training properly.

That being said, the truth is, all things being equal of course the drugs are going to help. However you will get minimal results from them if you are not eating and training right. I would try that approach first.

Just a great quote from Yoda "once you start down that dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny"

The honest truth is you do not gain weight directly from a steroid other than water weight. Steroids can increase the ability to metabolise protein and maintain positive nitrogen retention, but steroid users eat MORE than normal people, and your already on a diet of donuts and cookies?

The first rule of thumb before you tackle steroids, know how to gain weight and size NATURALLY. Its like riding a bike, before you take off the training wheels you need to get used to the bike itself for awhile.

Wether you use or not is up to you, but if you want to be one of those people who has done 5 entire cycles and STILL can't break 170 pounds, then I would have to say that you would be a person I have a hard time respecting. I dont want to be an ass but I have seen people who fit the exact above description, some people use and use and use and still can't do things right because they either lack dicipline (more likely) or they lack knowlege, my money is on dicipline and some on knowlege.

If you know what you are doing, and you are willing to eat like two pregnant women, you can do very very well on steroids in the short term, but it will NOT make up for a crappy diet and it wont do much to fix a crappy routine either. Like I tried to elude to above, steroid users generally train harder AND eat much much more. To add a discusting descriptive, it is not abnormal to "drop kiddies off at the pool" 2-3 times a day, for the larger guys even more.

I am 110% willing to eat and do what it takes, i wish you ll knew this ... but i just wanted something that was ognna give me that boost...ive seen friends of mine do these cycles and damn did they blow up...im not looking to be a hugh body builder or nothing just something i can smile about. if someone who knew what they were talking about said "eat this, work out this, inject this and then youll look like this, id do it.like i said theres those people who i went to college with that hardly worked out and genetically had great bodies, then there was me and a few others that would be in the gym busting our asses and stayed thin...life not always fair, that why i wanna give it a kick in the ass

Mike, hang out in the diet forum, post your bodyweight/stats and try to figure something out with the diet "experts" over there.

Then WRITE IT DOWN WRITE IT DOWN

Plan on eating every 3 hours or so, once you start growing you may "have to" increase that to 2.5 hours or you may want to add in 300 more calories or so per day.

I believe in logging your lifts at the gym and logging your diet, it is not only much easier to follow but you can look back at the last month and say I gained, or I didn't gain a damn thing - and then you have to face yourself instead of looking back over 6 months and asking yourself, have I gained at all? When it is on paper in front of you, there is the truth plain as day.

Mike, if getting huge wasn't hard, eveyone would have a massive ripped body! There are many factors involved. Diet, training and amount of rest you get. Plus the desire and drive to get it! You're still plenty young to get what you want. Just remember, it doesn't happen overnight. It will take years! I agree, get your diet in order first!!

Progress can be slow sometimes but that is where many people fail, they lack motivation and the persistence. Arnold didn't get where he was because he gave up when he didn't turn into an Olympian overnight.

I will admit I have dealt with these issues myself, mostly because I never stuck to the diet I should have, I started young and read the magazines and besides the misinformation within them, I had my own maturity issues and I didn't view diet as all that important. MISTAKE.

You can't build beef with sugar, you need the protein etc

if u cant gain weight without gear then gear is a waste of your money. Ill tell u what gain about 40 pounds in the next 6 months then come back and ill personaly help u get started with the juice game. U need to learn how to train for your body and how to eat. u need a ton more protien and a ton more food. Hell i take in more cals while dieting then u do on a daily baises. U are porbely and ecto morph u are gonna need to train intensely and briefly, and eat tons. Junk food will realy aid u in gaining i mean a couple of double bacon cheese burgers wont hurt u while bulking. shoot for atleast 300g of protien tons of complex carbs and good fats

Don't underestimate the importance of "good fats" in gaining mass. If you ingest some EFA's like flax and olive oil you get an amazing caloric increase with very little additional food bulk to have to digest and process. Try adding in some EFA into each of your meals - like 1 TBS every other meal or so calculated to give you about 500 cals over what your daily sustainment needs are for your activity level. Add more if very active. The Fats will also act as signals to let your body know that you are not starving and apparently in a caloric excess. Also go for at least 1 - 1.5 gms of quality protein per lb of mass 5x daily. At night time right before bed take in cottage cheese (since it will trickle charge your body with aminos all night when you need it most - at the time the GH cycle kicks in 2 hrs after falling asleep). You might also check out this guys site he is an expert at mass gains and is amazing.http://www.musclegaintips.com/

For people with a hard time gaining weight from food alone olive oil and flax are "godsends."

what about ice cream cereal and peanut butter those are the god sends for gaining mass for an ecto
