Hey guys, I am 21 years old, I weigh around 175lbs and have been lifting naturally for about 8 years now. I have been tampering with the idea of running some harder supplements lately and was thinking about running 4-6 weeks of Anavar at 50mg. I chose this compound because my goals are not to put on a ton of mass or to spike my lifts threw the roof, but rather to really lean up while putting on some mild strength and size gains past my typical capacity. Whereas most of my life I have focused on lifting for hypertrophy and endurance gains, the last few months I have been doing Insanity and have really enjoyed it. However, now I am thinking about getting back into lifting until I reach some plateaus, and then running Anovar while lifting HARD in the mornings and doing insanity in the evenings. My thinking was that Anovar would help increase my recovery time and help me to get cut while still making some noticeable strength and size gains. For the record I am not interested in running any test or PH with it. So my question is this: is this a reasonable plan/goal/expectation/interpretation of what Anovar can do for me? I really appreciate any advice you can give me.
NOTE: I have always been a very clean eater, my current bf% is probably around 10 or 12, and I am fully aware of proper support supplementation and PCT as I do my research.
