My girl-friends daughter spends all of her time socializing with her friends didn't really go to school to learn, I tried my best to make her want to love learning but stupid is the new black these days it's all the rage to be like Paris Hilton. Anyway a year ago we were shopping for a winter coat for her to go to San Francisco around Thanksgiving to visit her friends in college over there when I told her to get some gloves as they planned on going to the mountains to see snow. Being born in Hawaii and lived here her whole life I could sort of understand but not really when she asked "Why? Is snow cold?" I mean she is not retarded and can learn easily it's just that knowledge of fashion and fads are more important to her now than worldly knowledge, but now that she is in college I notice slowly she is changing. Lately she has been listening to Aesop Rock and some older 90's alternative like Bush, Oasis and Nirvana and some other stuff I'ved played around the house for the longest time and she would be like what is this music it sounds stupid. She's also decided to take up painting she has an easel in her room and got some paints and brushes.....so there still is hope there... But yeah dumb is in...
