As a US marine. I want to thank everyone that has served beside me. Gave their life before me to give me and my family the freedoms that allow me to live the way that I do. This is a little early for a memorial day post. But Who gives a fuck thank you. If you have family that has troops that gave their lives for me thank you.

Former Army, had brothers in arms on my left and right die on me for this nation and our freedom...they were not blood, but they were sure as fuck my family. I am blessed to be alive today and be with my wife and daughter. To all the vets, past and present, happy memorial day! And if you don't support our troops...

Some of the guys we lost while running missions and died ensuring our team was safe i could never truly thank them for that. Also all the troops that sacrifice the time away from home, friends, and family that is truly a unselfish dead that they do.
I was talking to a chief the other day that in the early 2000's there was a seal that was found gay and was going to be processed out of the Navy, due to a myspace post or something. Well he ended up dying in combat saving his many team members but was not awarded ANY thing because he violated the UCMJ of don?t ask don?t tell. Thats shit to me if you have the Honor to give your life so others may live you have the right to serve.

I agree. Gays should be allowed in the Military.. Just take the Thinking behind some of the older armies.. like Greece for example... they promoted Homosexuality in their army because the men would better protect their partners. Didn't make them amazing, but i'm sure one of those gay dudes back then could dismember any straight guy in todays military EASILY

It can be done many ways. Respect if you see a man or woman in uniform tell them that you appreciate what they do for you. These people are not requesting anything but if you are an american and you love your country and the life you can provide for your children. Understand it would never been obtained without the life of fearless people that often died to give you the rights to raise your children the way you want, to teach them what you want. Support them by arming yourself with knowledge. help not put people in power that take away from what our military died to protect. Because at the end of the day whether you agree with the wars or not. the military men and women take the order whether they like it or not and pursue it without question and obey the orders of the commander in chief whether or not they agree with it because of the better interest in the country. even if it means being put directly in harms way. If a man saves your family from imminent disaster what would you do. That is what has already been done for you figure out what type of support you want to give.

My Father-in-law (aka Dutch) has told me many things, things that I do not know if I could do. He was in the first and one of the only troops who volunteered to become a LRRP.. He saw some bad shit but did what he had to do for his country, even though that war was fucked up... God Bless all our troops, cooks, secrataries, ...etc.... They all have a job to do and they all depend on each other....
