damn right lat is smaller then then other! i kno all muscles are not perfectly the same in proportion. but even my damn gf can tell the difference.

im wondering if on pulldowns or pullups that im not executing the lift exactly straight and might be hitting each side a little differently. idk, i just want to fix this before it gets even more retarted.

You mean your wings rather than your width is different?

In that case drop the pulldowns and start on some pullups or weighted pullups. Forces both arms to pull its share.

My entire left side of my body is developed better than my right side lol.. So you think your lats are bad, what would you think if you had what I have? lol :P

You can try using unilateral movements.

Is there a strength difference as well?

Can you post a picture? It might not be abnormal.

alternating 1 arm chin ups with your free hand holding the other wrist could possibly be used to see if theres any major performance difference.

I would suggest bent over one arm rows ( with a bench of course). That should isolate each lat nicely, tho I am not sure if it will target the exact part of the right lat which you think need developing. Still, try it out and if you notice one side signifigantly stonger than the other, then stick with the exercise!

Also...you might want to look into how you do your shoulder and chest exercises. If you tend to favour one side over the other when you do those exercises, it MIGHT have an effect on ur lats since the lats can function as antagonistic muscles for a few shoulder exercises and many chest exercises. Maybe you should do some investigating and do some dumbells for all your upper body exercises ( dumbells are the easiest way to notice if one side is stronger than the other of course).

Your not the only one bro... haha my left lat sticks out more than my right when flexed, but theres not a noticeable strength difference.. keep up the good work chances are no1 will ever notice.

You may want to consult a chiropractor on this one if you have not done so already. It is possible that your spine is misaligned and thus causing you to favor one side as many of the joints on that side are more comfortable for you to use.

It may even feel natural to you in your movements, but as you stated you can definitely tell the difference when analyzing aesthetics.

^ What he said, scoliosis is not that uncommon.

My lats are the only thing that seem dead even.

My abs even seem to be getting bigger on one side.
