I'm 31 years old.. I admittedly started toying around with AAS far too young. If I could go back in time I would, but I can't...so nonetheless, Every year since my early 20s I've run one legitimate cycle many of them were short 6-10 week cycles, one or two of them were longer 12-14 week cycles... Last year I got divorced and ended up turning what was going to be a 10-12 week run into a 6 month cycle. I was feeling great, a number of my injuries were held at bay if not getting completely better, I looked awesome, and I was getting a ton of tail. It was f-ing awesome....

So, I'm starting to plan another run and I'm probably going plan a 6month run right from the start staying on from March-August. I've been using GH peptides off an on for a couple years and introduced HGH during last years cycle which I really liked so I'll probably do the same. I would switch up compounds throughout and probably run a lower cruise dose of Test for about a month mid cycle...

Just looking for thoughts and opinions on a cycle of this length

Sounds like you're talking yourself into blast and cruise.

What did your blood work look like after 6 months?

Essentially yes... it would be two blasts with one short cruise. 5 weeks into PCT my TT was around 200 and something(terrible). I increase my Clomid dose and ended up running it a lot longer than most do and got my TT back into my normal range mid 500s. I'm actually going to go get some bloods done again this week I think as I've been off any SERM for a while

I've been doing cycles for over 20yrs. Last 6months did blast and cruise but during my cruise started to have incredible pain, night sweats and more. Fixed that by jumping back on. Gonna just roll with it. At 52yrs old, I would rather blast and back off now and then vs hurt, be depressed, etc. After a certain point (around 5yrs ago), I switched my training to functional movements and spent more time working on clean & timed eating. I'm not a competitive body builder, but have a very physical job. Staying in shape and being healthy has been a focus for years. However, as your body changes and gets older, I suggest to stick to the disciplines for health vs bulk. This Spring I'm gonna add Peptides into the mix as well.

I'm not quite understanding what you're considering the disciplines for health vs. bulk. Are you talking about your training methods? or saying not to stay on for 6 months?

Yessir..i agree. I started on gear when i was 35. I guess my test level was shit already because when i started talking test i felt like a new man. I had always battled depression and when i got on test it all went away. Now when i came off..OH MY GOD, i felt like shit!!!! So i did pct etc...my test level was 23..hear what i said??? 20 fn 3!!! So yeah..blast and cruise brother.
And to the original post...bro...if you can get your test level back to 500 still then dont do a 6 month run. Or you will have to stay on test till the end.

Id say go for it. Get labs every so often. If bloods keep coming back great, and you feel great.. then I'd stay on until they came back not so good. Time to stop. That's not the healthiest way tho.
