Ok, so this is my first "real" post here, aside from the introductory one.

Right now, I am in the bulking phase. I am sure I am doing it the wrong way. When I began my routine (July/August), I was about 194lbs, now I am at 225lbs. A lot of this is fat though. I went from 19% body fat to 25-27%. I am sure I am doing plenty of things wrong, and that is why I have joined this forum. I am sure one of the biggest things I am doing wrong is my diet. I was told to eat like a pig, and I have been. But I have been eating nothing but crap. Chips, pizza, beer. About a month ago I started taking creatine and protein shakes, other than that, no supplements. I am very regimented in my workout routine, and have not faltered on that part.

I have also seen huge strength gains.
EX: started with MAX bench on 100lbs, now up to 160lbs+.

My main concern is when I begin to cut, around January, are there affordable and efficient ways to maintain a cutting diet? All the info on here is kind of overwhelming at first. I work full time, and am also a full time student, so my money/time is kinda limited. I have carved away time for workouts, but I am mostly worried about $$$ for the diet and cooking time. I mean I saw some sample diets on here that you had to eat like 12 eggs in one day, thats a lot of money.

Anyways, maybe someone has a link to an article or post about my particular situation. I am trying to do all the research now before I try and implement a plan for January.

Any help is appreciated.

Eating like a pig doesnt mean eat a lot of saturated fats, and eat too much bad stuff. You just want more of the stuff than when you are on a cut. Eat more chicken, eat more turkey, etc, etc, just bring your calorie intake up, but dont eat all bad stuff, cause like youre seeing, you will gain a lot of fat.

As far as eggs go, I can go to publix and get 12 eggs for 68 cents, thats not a lot of money by any means.

Good luck, other members will be able to help you out more.

Protein powders are pretty cheap, depending on the brand you get. You get a lot of servings for only $20 - 30
