Hi, I m 19, and I'm 5'10" and weigh 174 lbs, I have a gut, and I want to bulk up my arms. Do i eat more calories to bulk my arms up? or eat less to get rid of my gut and build the abs? Thanks.
The idea you have to eat tons of food and get fat to get big muscles 1970 logic. Drop the gut first, you can build muscle slowly while you lose fat at 19 ( about .5-1 lb a week fat loss). Read the diet stickys.
if u r still new to body building ...just eat your maintanance or even a little more and u'll lose fats while adding muscles mass....= your waiste will get smaller while your upper body gets bigger..
