Undertraining? Then what would be overtraining?

not sure about under or overtraining, but alls i know is you could almost definitely get 225x6 if you didn't such high rep warmups. I used to do the same thing, but cut way back, and wouldn't you know it, bench went up.

do like 135x6, 185x3, then hit your 225.

will my chest be warmed up enough to avoid injury?

sure.

warming up doesnt neccesarily mean pyramiding up to your working sets.

Take a MONSTROUS 2.5lber and make big ass circles with your shoulders. Do some rotator-cuff movements. Get those arms swingin'. Take a light bb and mimic shoulder pressing, upright and bent rowing, curling etc.

That's what i do. Not only does it warm you up, but i get a nice pump going which fires me up, plus it gives me a chance to put my mind in my muscle, so i'm flexing the right muscles when i train.

give it a shot, bro...

totally agree with flex here, never push yourself on your warm-up sets (sets before your working sets), they are just to get your warmed up and get your muscle fibers used to the movement and weight, not to work the muscle at all, thats what your heavy lifts are for, you'll be able to get more weight/reps out in your last few working sets if you reserve your energy on your first sets, try it!

sounds good i will give it a try ok now heres something for you tomorrow i got legs.....my squat workout looks like this tweak it if it needs
135x15, 225x10, 285x8 315x6 warm up 375x3x4 working
