Is there such a thing as too much whey protein? I usually have 2 shakes a day. I try to get as much protein from regular foods as i can, but it just doesnt seem like i'm getting enough.
Why would you do this and starve your body of other nutrition like this.i have between 2 and 5 shakes a day, and i'm cutting right now

what do you have pre-workout?
see you answered my pre-workout question with "I have 2 scoops of Optimum whey and 1/2c of raw uncooked oats."Originally posted by P-funk
Right now I have 2 scoops of Optimum whey and 1/2c of raw uncooked oats. After I am done with this mini 4 week cut and I get back from vegas and start my real precontest bulk I will probably switch to an MRP, maybe prolab lean mass matrix, or some whey and dextrose post workout....haven't decided yet.
Before bed I have 1.5c of 4% cottage cheese and some strawberries.
ahh fuck it u don't get what i am sayingOriginally posted by P-funk
Right, that is one shake.......there is only 23g of protein and 110cals in 1 scoop of optimum. I need two scoops to make enough protein and cals. I don't know anyone that only uses one scoop of protein in their shakes.....see what I am talking about? two scoops=one shake.....if I were to have another shake I would have to take in another 2 scoops.
