of course, the Jays have already decided to keep him in centerfield (a mistake on day one of the offseason after a colossal failure opting not to trade Halladay at midseason) where he's a butcher and he's only getting older, so there is no basis for why he would improve next season and beyond.
who knows though? all signs pointed to David Ortiz having a rebirth and he had a down year. maybe if all signs point to Vernon Wells continuing to suck, he'll be comeback player of the year.
