Foreman, you are laughable. The fact that you always point out racism and accuse people of racism which clearly has nothing to do with the topic at hand proves that you are probably the one who is racist in the first place.

"Takes one to know one" .. but in my case, i am not racist :thumb:

1. The shining
2. Amittyville horror (remake)
3. Halloween
4. SAW I
5. The excorsist (original)

foreman... night of the living dead, are you serious?

SIDE NOTE: i watched hostel last nite and must say it wasnt bad, but not as good as everyone made it seem. it wasnt scary at all, it was bloody but not scary. SAW creeped me the fuck out, but hostel kind of just "ended". no real closure

I agree with you about hostel. On the cover of the movie, it says something like "One of the scariest, horrifying movie ever seen!" So, i was like this should be interesting but after watching it, i agree that it was more like sick, disgusting and bloody but it wasn't scary at all.

You guys are forgetting Scream 1, 2 and 3. Although scream 2 and 3 were ok, the original one was by far the best. It was very intense and suspenseful at the right points during the movie.

I agree about scream being suspenseful, but I don't think it was very scary.

how's the 3rd degree coming along?
Good, after the summer I'm done. More like a second degree though, one is just an AD so I can't count that as real school. The only problem is I don't have a 4.0 and 19 credits every semester.

American Werewolf in London
Halloween
Poltergeist
Friday the 13th
Nightmare on Elm Street

Hostel wasnt good at all. The tits were the only thing good. Seriously Hostel and the worst movie of all time, Cabin Fever were fucking horrible movies. And whatdoyaknow, they were directed by the same asshole.

Exorcist 1 and 3
Poltergeist
The Shining (might be my fav. scariest)
Alien
American Werefolf in London

Movies like Scream and Friday the 13th are all about 'spooks.' A scary movie to me is a movie filled with a dark, creepy aura. The atmosphere is chilling and never lets up. The Shining is a staple for this genre. After you watch a movie that has spooks, it loses its value. Everything scary in Scream was either a loud sudden noise and a sudden movement or both. Not so chilling the second time around. Just as good as saying "boo" to someone.

I thought wrong turn was good but my favourite is still hellraiser ive got the boxset.

No!!! The fact that that hot Black woman didn't give you enough reason to like the film proves you are racist.

That's why I was rooting for the "zombies."

Horror films don't bother me, but MindFuck films do.

Like Jacob's Ladder, Donnie Darko, David Lynch Films, Se7en

True Story, se7en was the best Romantic comedy i've ever seen.

Requiem For A Dream was a mindfuck movie for me. that movie left me feeling weird and depressed for a few days. I am not really sure why.

The movie Wenidgo was a little scary. Strange movie.

Movies like, Saw, and Hostel don't really get to me. Most horror films don't. I will say though Texas Chain Saw Massacre ( the original and remake ) we're both pretty good. Requiem for a Dream is one of my favorite movies. Donnie Darko too.

I'd say...

1. TCSM ( because it was filmed near here )
2. se7en
3. Scary Movie 1
4. Scary Movie 2
5. Scary Movie 3

I rented Donnie Darko when it first came out (straight to video kind of movie, eh?) and the only part I actually enjoyed was the Tears for Fears song and the part where Donnie called Swayze the "fucking antichrist." Other than that, it was just a movie some fucknut that graduated film school wanted to use to display his/her fucked up imagination. No point.
