Training around a hand injury, help?

Hi I am new to this website so I hope this is all in the right section! Lol ibis basically just wondering if anyone could give me any help or advice with training around an injury. Basically I fractured the thumb-side metacarpal 10 months ago and it has never been the same since. It is mainly when doing my shoulders and I'm unable to do high reps or drop sets (this is how I've been training recently) as it begins to ache and the whole hand feels weak. Also I can't use the bench press as it places to much emphasis on that side of my hand. I've always wanted a big chest but just wanted to know if there were specific was of doing it without using the bench (is chest pressing etc enough)

Personally I think every persons's body is different and there is no 'right' way to train but if anyone could give us any help or point us ij the right direction it would be appreciated.
