Im 23yo and workout 5 days a week. I work part-time as a bartender/barback twice a week at a famous local sports bar (Chickie's and Pete's). When I am behind the bar and its busy, I obviously hustle. My motivation is to make $money$. My goal is to keep my customers happy so that they give me more $money$. This raises my intensity level, gives me focus and increases my energy level to a heart-pounding rate. I literally am running around, sweating my butt off. Im really good behind the bar and love doing it, so that gives me drive.
My question for you guys is this, how do you (and incidentaly, how do I) channel that type of energy, focus, etc... into my workouts? I workout hard and train well, but I realized the other night at work, if I can channel that some how I could really see gains and easily break plateaus. Any thoughts?
