Tricep Injury...... I think

Over the past 2 months I've been having this on/off problem with my tricep. When I do any tricep exercise especially extension or pressdowns I get this pain above my elbow that is very intense. It only hurts when I am during my workout. Any help or advice on this injury would be helpful

I had the same problem for a while, but only when doing skull crushers. Lighter weight or, as much as I hate to do it, REST is probably the best solution.

Tendon or muscle? I think it is the tendon. the pain is below the actual muscle
 
I occasionally get that. If something aggrivates it, i don't do it.

I'm well stubborn though, so instead of taking a break from trainng, which is really what should be done, i train around it with movements that don't make it hurt.

If you don't want to take, say, a week or two off training, then ease off your triceps work for a bit - maybe completely or just going lighter on what you do and chose exercises that don't hurt. Realise you may also need to amend your chest workouts to accommodate.
