I just started my new routine last week: i got rubber bands with hooks and used them in my weight lifting, for example in benching i tied each side of the barbell with a rubber band to the chassis of the bench (the rubber bands are very elastic and not too hard) then i benched my usual weight...but now the rubber bands are pulling down , the weight is variable and let me tell you about the negative phase!!! then i used them with the smith machine for inclined press, military presses, i used them for triceps pull downs etc....using the normal weight i normally lift and a little less.
results: excellent pump and feel and very sore the next day...good stuff, but not to be done every time.
