And they should redo this match because I was cheated of my money, but I dont think the outcome is going to be any different! Wow Ortiz should feel cheated. hes kicked his ass 2 times now and now hes thrown back in the ring with Shamrock again, for what? Its not like its moving him up the ladder torwards Liddel. Hell they skipped right over Ortiz and threw the best out of Pride at Liddel instead, wow what a slap in the face. its like sayin here ya go Ortiz you can have this to tide you over until then.

He's just happy to be fighting frequently. I don't think he cares who or where, he justs wants to be in the Octagon. He's still a young 31 and will get plenty of difficult fights within the next year or two. And if I was him I wouldn't fee cheated or mind getting a fat check to get tossed in the Octagon against a guy I whooped twice.

Pretty good point, but they are also like any other athlete in any other sport, they want the big title/championship.

Definately. His next fight against Liddell will be a lot better. He looks and sounds a lot more confident than in the past and he'll approach this one a lot differently. Hopefully Chucks beats Silva so we'll be looking at Ortiz/Liddell II in early 2007.

That would be excellent. Chuck is good, but wow Silva is equally as good. Should be a fantastic fight. I will probably buy this one.

He's kicked this guy's ass twice, why should he have to do it again. In this next fight all he has to do slip up and he's in a Shamrock arm bar or ankle lock. Then he's got to win 3 more fights to get a shot at the title. If he dosen't care about being champ, then fine fight for money.

I think the majority of fans do not want to see this fight again and the only way to pawn it off was to make it free. It's free because fans wouldn't have paid. Dana White says he got this great announcement to make at the weigh-ins and then he gives us this. Was I the only one who heard the fans booing them? Dana gets a D- on this one.

Yeah most of the people who would pay for this one again would be Shamrock & Tito fans. A lot of people are fed up with the two. Free, everyone will watch it. Can't complain. I just like to watch fights so I could care less about Tito's chances since I don't really like the dude all that much. I'm happy to be seeing good fighters like Tito & Ken for free. And if this was on a PPV it would be an undercard like last time, so chances are - mad people would buy it.

Well, I felt cheated and I want to see it again. I like that its FREE, but this fight is being recorded kinda locally to me, so I might pay to see it. Its being shown in a awesome place too with lots of pussy. Just not sure how good my sight will be.

Anyone ever go one of these? I mean, TV provides viewers with up-close hits vs ring side seats, but are there those big screens that people on tv see? (provided that fighters get into a position behind one of the poles or such)

Sounds like a good night. Beer, bitches & fighting. What else do ya need?

I've been to numerous MMA Events because I know a lot of fighters. Never a UFC event though. I don't think I'd be willing to drop that much. Not to mention, the tournaments I've gone to are extemely entertaining with a lot of KO's and slugfests.

Thats good news.

The place that is hosting this fight is a HardRock Casino, so all alone this place is awesome from what Ive been told. I am a clubbing person most of the time, so thats why I find this place to be very fun.

What is your beef with Liddell? Do you think he sucks too?

Silva/ Liddell will not be fighting anytime soon.

Unless they can iron out an agreement (which I doubt)

Yeah seems like Pride just was dinking around the UFC.... More of a publicity stunt.

I think that makes for a great fight. Liddell for the win.

How many times has Liddell beat Tito? Once or Twice? I think Liddell will win again. I would rather see Griffin in there.

I don't think Tito would stand a chance against Chuck. It would end much like the last one, Tito being overwhelmed with punches. Although I do believe it would be a much better fight than Liddell/Babalu.

Liddell is a bad man, but he's one-dimensional. I realize he is a good wrestler, but he's not the best wrestler and prefers to stand up and trade. Somebody is going to catch up with him and figure out how to beat him WITHOUT getting punched. When they do, he's gonna lose and lose big. I honestly believe that Tito will be the guy who figures him out first and beats Liddell.

I think the Iceman will win again. Tito probably won't stand in with him and will try to shoot in for the takedown, which Liddell is the best in the business at either blocking or countering with nice kicks and punches, as we saw against Babablu. If Tito doesn't get Koed by the counters, he will become frustrated and once again try to stand with Chuck and get knocked out. That's my prediction.

Tito lives by the ground and pound and relies on the take downs to get position. He would have a shot, but I think Liddell would catch him again. I was impressed with the way Griffin handle Tito's takedown attempts. Anyone who fights Tito should take a page out of Forrest's book.

Id have to agree 100% here. Not sure if it will be Tito though.

I have gained some interest in Tito ever since the Shamrock interactions during the show and right afterwards.

Not to mention Liddell has one of the best takedown defenses in the UFC. Tito would have to get him there to do anything. I like Tito way more than I like Chuck, but Tito is scared of Chuck's power, you could see it in their 1st fight.

Yes he is. That is why I would rather see Griffin. I think it would be a better fight. Who knows, Tito will be ready for it. We are all getting amped up for this and it isn't until December

I would like to see Griffin v Liddell, but I think Tito has earned another shot. I don't think you can give Forrest a shot before Tito, being that Tito just beat him. I would like to see Forrest fight Babalu, that would be interesting.

Anyone know what's going on with Vitor lately?

Hmmmm. I didn't think of that match up. That would def be awesome.

If Forrest's stand up continues to improve like it has, I think this makes another bad matchup for Babalu. Forrest looked good against Tito defending the takedown, I would look for a similar outcome to this fight.
