I am not against God, I am against all organized religion, whether there is a God or not is of no importance to me, I am more interested in how and why, not who. I believe God is on the downswing, but religion is on a deeper one. What is the %age of religious people in the US now compared to back in the 1950s? It is definitely not increasing or staying flat, it's on the decline. I find it interesting that each man's book is so different from one another, yet they are all pathways to God. IMO each book is just a way to manipulate the populace in to behaving a certain way, it has nothing to do with God. Don't you find it interesting that the people you elect have no problem telling other people to kill other people even though the bible is against it? GWB was a holy roller and he had no problem sending our troops in for oil. Don't you find it odd that the higher ups in the Catholic religion have no problem hiding homosexual abuse of young boys when I would have to assume the bible is against that since it's against all homosexuality? Smoke and mirrors, my friend, smoke and mirrors. If you're going to worship a god you should do it in your own way, because all of the assholes in charge seem to be breaking all of the rules, why shouldn't you?
As for do I see the difference between the Salem Witch Trials and the Muslim religion? Of course I believe the Muslim religion is a brutal religion, but how many men were killed for being witches? In the bible, it was Eve who ate the apple, not Adam. For all I can tell, men of all colors have been blaming women for their problems since the beginning of time. I believe we are past that, I don't believe the Muslims are yet, in due time, in due time.
