JACK3DREVIEW
Why I chose to review Jack3d:

I tried Jacked when it first came on the scene. At thetime it was definitely in a league of its own. Now that the company has changedits formula, several times I believe, I thought it would be a good supplementto start a review on.

USP Labs:

Overall I would say USP labs isn?t one of the very topbrands in the supplement industry, maybe top 20 as far as popularity. I haven?ttried many of their products and do not personally know anyone that swears bythem.

The Ingredients:

1 serving

PROPRIETARY BLEND 3580mg

Advanced Creatine Ratio (creatine monohydrate, anhydrous), Nitrate Blast (citrulline, pinus pinaster extract), Beta Alanine (Carnosyn),Yohimbe Extract, Schisandra Chinensis Extract, Rhodiola Rosea Extract

Caffeine 100mg

Ingredient Analysis:

If you do the math on the label then there are about1.4g of fillers in jack3d, that?s almost a fourth of its contents. I found thatthere are studies that show pinus pinaster bark extract increases the releaseof nitric oxide in the blood cause by citrulline, though studies focus onerectile dysfunction rather than fitness applications nitric oxide obviouslyhas fitness application. Yohimbe extract is one of those ?maybe it works?supplements. There is (as far as I know) no studies that show that it increasestestosterone levels or lipolysis as many companies claim. Schisandra chinensisextract seems to also have an effect on nitric oxide levels. One study (linkprovided) shows that blood circulation increases after a short time on dailydosages. Rhodiola rosea extract is yet another supplement that may or may notreally have a fitness application. Studies have shown the supplement to lowerstress levels but the drug is sometimes advertised as lipolysis inducing, whichI can find no study to back.

ENERGY/FOCUS SCORE 8

Though my energy levels were maybe not deserving ofquite an eight I virtually had no crash at any point after my workout, whichwhen I use PWO I consider that valuable. Energy levels were high enough that Ifelt good my entire workout and my focus was on point.

PUMP SCORE 6
I would say that I barely noticed a difference in thisarea versus no PWO. The only reason it?s not scored slightly lower is becausewhat pump I did carry I carried longer than normal, even while doing cardio.
PRICE SCORE 7
I bought mine for 25 bucks. At that price I may purchaseit again if I didn?t have a better option. Much more than that and I?d say itwas a no go for me. Normally I think you can find it for about $30.
OVERALL SCORE 7
I would say that Jack3d is pretty much a middle of theroad supplement. For me it was just ok in pretty much every aspect. Definitelyhad some increased energy and focus but even at two servings it wasn?t anythingspectacular. I would say that if you can catch it on sale like I did ($25) itis worth the money. Compared to its original formula it is definitely a disappointmentbut there isn?t much USP labs can do about that.

If you have any questions or suggestions for thisreview or for a future review please let me know. This will probably be thefirst of many.

Never understood why people take pre-workout garbage

Before a couple months ago I would take some on days I felt bad. I was in a car accident a couple months ago and sustained a pretty severe injury so energy levels have been way down from recovery and I've relied on it more often. It has its place like most anything else.

Have you tried TNE?

No, but I did just look into it. Bunch of mixed results but something I will probably try in the near future. Thanks.

naw test no ester,-I am not sure if preworkout drinks actually do anything other than make you jittery

a lot of pre-workouts work amazing as placebo, works for some, others get nothing from them, guess its hit or miss
