Because of the lack of meat in our diets, we don't consume excess testosterone.
If you drink milk, you may be consuming some excess estrogen(maybe that's why I've sprouted an A-cup... hmmm...).
Does anyone know of other vitamins/minerals responsible for the production of testosterone, or some that may assist in it's production?

Any testosterone that might be ingested from meat consumption has no effect, it's simply digested.

As far as supplements that facilitate testosterone production, I recommend ZMA (zinc, magnesium aspartate). These mineral are necessary for the production of T, and if you have any deficiency it will help.

if it is digested,

how does it have "NO EFFECT"?
in AMerica, kids hit puberty (on average) about three years before kids in ANY OTHER country in the world. We also consume mad more meat and milk than any other country in the world.

Doctors have told people with prostate(any kind, actually) cancer to cut down on meat intake- especially red meat.
Too much testosterone has been linked to prostate cancer, also. I'm not saying it causes it... but the connection is there.
Also, Baldness.

How can something you digest- absorb into your body- have "NO EFFECT"?
Of course it has an effect.
If you eat some nasty meat product shortly before you go to sleep- you may have bad dreams/bad sleep. WHY? Because you have digested the chemical that causes the sensation of fear. That chemical, along with many others, is released in the animal prior to it being slaughtered- probably the entire time it watches it's own family being dismembered/disemboweled.

So, if what you're saying is true we should eat bull testicles and that will raise are T levels.

It may have an effect, but the effect is not raised T levels in humans that eat meat that contain steroids.

Let me give you an example. If you were to drink a injectable steroid it would not raise your testosterone levels. It would be destroyed during digestion before it ever reaches the blood stream.
Oral steroids have a coating to protect the steroid thru the digestion process so that it is still usable by the time it reaches the blood stream. (Steroid gurus please correct me if necessary) :)

So, any steroids that are in meat will not have any noticable effect on your T levels. It may have some effects on your health, but that's not the effect I ws referring to in my first post.

As far as doctors telling men with prostate cancer to cut down on red meat, that is due to the high fat content. Many studies have noted an association between high-fat diets and an increased risk of prostate cancer.

As far as the puberty reference, it's possible that a high protein diet, especially one of red meat, increases T levels. But your T levels are not increased due to any steroids in the meat. It may be due to the extra cholesterol and saturated fat we are consuming in America, which facilitates T production.

No...... yeah....

Go eat whatever you want- though I, personally, will not condone eating Bulls Balls.....
people also don't digest meat very well- many people have like five pounds(sic) or more of not completely digested meat lining their intestines(blocking other nutrients absorbtion).
That "meat" may have a good amount testosterone in it that could be absorbed through the intestines- along with other things, slowly poisoning whomever. Makes sense to me- though I'm no nutritionist or Med. student.....
True, many things are engineered to work differently based on how they are ingested- ritalin for example- SUPPOSED to help the user focus(bullshit... discussion in and of itself.) things when swallowed, but can fuck you up if inhaled/snorted. But what i was talking about earlier(not originally though- this topic has been fragmented a bit.) was inherent(not necessarily natural) testosterone content in meat, and it's effects on people who consume it.

"Huh! I always sleep like a baby......go figure"
Cute non sequiteur, prince. It's still a non sequiteur.
