Hey everyone, just curious..

What does everyone take/use for Vitamin C (besides vitamins). The shopping list was kind of short on Vitamin C stuff besides berries. I mean, Oranges have a lot of carbs. (I used to eat an orange a day)...

Any suggestions or some kind of list would be great.

I take a time release 1000MG Vit C every day with my morning vitamins. :D

Any actual food? :hmmm:

Grapefruit :lick:

Jodi, you ever try this?

No what is it. I just get my grapefruit and my Vit C pills

Yeah, I'd be curious to know the nutritional values because its got the Evil S word written all over it.

Muscle Gelz Transdermals
IronMag Labs Prohormones
Just as I thought 3.5G of Sugar. :finger: I wouldn't recommend it. :D

Why bother having that for a vit c source when you can get it elsewhere without the sugar. Any sugar is bad and there is no sugar in heavy cream. :)

WHat bout vegetables that are frozen? Some say sugar. Like carrots, peas and string beans

Peas and carrots aren't allowed. :D Check out the shopping list on the sticky :)

I take a 1000 mg in the morning, 600 mg in the afternoon which is in my multi and whatever is in my food for the day.

TJohn

I eat peas!!!
They're my source of carbs with my plan!
You mean Im not supposed to? They're GREEN and they're VEGGIES!!!

:finger: Peas are not a veggie, they are a legume. No more Peas Please! :D

oh NO! Thats horrible news. Sweet peas are legumes. WTF :grumble:
Can't have anymore frozen mixed veggies either.

I cant substitute oranges for grapefruit can I?

And BTW, what are steel cut oats?

No substitutions. :finger: Stick with the foods on the shopping list.

Steel cut oats are Oats that are less process than Rolled oats. I've never tried them but I hear there good. They take a hell of a lot longer to cook.

Grapefruit JUICE? I think thats too sweet, huh? (added sugars and all)

Is it on the list? :)

Agh! :gosh: Ok. I'll blend grapefruit and strawberries together one of these days. :lick:

No Carrots

wait a minute. No Carrots and no oranges? Is this only a recommendation for a cut? I can't imagine never having a carrot or orange again?
Hell Bugs Bunny is my hero :D and he used to eat them all the time.

One thing to keep in mind here is that it depends on who's advice you are taking on IM. Each of us have our own way of cutting and there are different opions/ways to cut. I am helping Julie and have designed a plan/strategy for her cut. As long as she is taking my advice and following a plan we set up for her then there will be no carrots or oranges for Julie. :D

Thats right :D
Im trying to get my gears right so eventually everything will become automatic to me.
I guess Im trying to see what I can get away with. ;) Cant do it though. Gotta do it properly even if I have to say good bye to my beloved oranges for a while.

Thank God. I was getting a little scared there for a minute. I guess that means when I begin my cut in a couple of months I'll have to tighten the foods I eat. Thanks Jodi and Sorry for your loss Julie. :sob:
