how many sets and reps should i be doing if i am working at a high intensity? for example, for my chest workout:
incline dumbell
3 sets of 6-8 reps
if i get to 8 reps, i can increase the weight
flat dumbell press
3 sets of 8-10 reps
get to 10 reps, increase weight
dumbell flys
3 sets of 8-10 reps
get to 10 reps increase weight
should i lower my reps even further if im doing only 9 sets?
ALL sets taken to failure. ive just had a big confusion between low volume training and intensity levels. if i were doing a higher volume routine, would the cumulative fatigue method be the best?
