i want to build up the golf ball muscle. any of you guys know what im talking about? the back of you forearm kinda? what exercises are good for getting that bigger???

Great exercises for big upper forearms (wrist extensor muscles)
Reverse curls with a barbell (can be done with a preacher curl bench)
Hammer curls
Reverse wrist curls

Great exercises for big inner forearms (wrist flexor muscles)
Barbell wrist curls
one-arm wrist curls

Forearms are one of my weak points and I have gotten great results from super setting reverse curls with a barbell with reverse wrist curls (upper forearms).

For my inner forearms I super set barbell curls with barbell wrist curls.

heavy dumbell use is great, just using heavy anything really. Farmers walks are great, deadlifts. I really don't have alot of faith in doing little curls for the forearms honestly, I find them much more taxed when I am using heavy weight during compound movements, maybe to superset them with curls and what not would be good for you thou. Look into the Captains of Crush as well, those have been very helpful for me

I think if your are not blessed with the genetics of Popeye direct forearm work is a must. You said "I find them much more taxed when I am using heavy weight during compound movements" . I know this works but I happen to think if you want massive forearms with deep cuts you got to blast them to failure. Treat them like anyother bodypart and train them consistently with intensity.

Does anyone else have an opinion on forearm growth??

I can safely say that I was NOT blessed with good forearms at all, trust me. The reason I say this is b/c your forearms see so much every day, you really have to go heavy to train them. doing little curls is not gonna get it down, they may help but you need to show them extreme weight alot of eth time for a response. I totally agree that you should be consistent and and intense and train them like other muscle groups.

btw I like the name bro, madden is the shit. August 12 Madden 2005 comes out baby!!! thats gonna be sooo sicc

people tell me i have large forearms for my size... i just work in 3 sets of french curls on my back/biceps day and it seems to be fine. i also alternate hammer curls with regular curls. but i agree that compound movements also are a key to arm growth.

It is a sweet game, not much different than 04. The problem with 03 is that that online play is no longer available.

I routinely do the wrist curls, reverse curls, hammer curls and the plate squeeze. Truthfully, i havent found anything that works forearms harder then farmer's walks with heavy dumbells. The first 2 laps are relatively easy, by the 5th, the dumbells are hanging from my fingertips and they burn like no other.
Try them, good luck
