I was wondering, if you want to have bigger muscles, will you be able to acheive that by lifting weights that you feel relatively comfortable with? Or wll bigger muscles ONLY grow when you work out with weights that you find rather heavy?

Geez, I'm asking so many questions in my first time here

I don't have a great body, but as long as I work hard like now, I'm gonna reach there.

Ask all the questions you want....

You need to lift heavy if you want to grow bigger muscles. Your muscles will not grow if your weight training workouts feel "comfortable." They need to be intense, and your should feel as if the workout has kicked your ass. Exactly how heavy and how many reps/sets to do depends on your goals, but if simply growing bigger muscles is your goal, the weight has GOT to be heavy.

Hmmm, so, does that mean that if I lift weights that I feel kinda comfortable with, I'll only be Cutting my body instead of gaining bigger muscles?

Not really. If you go light with the weight, you'll just be maintaining your muscle size. To get that "cut" look, it's all about your diet.

For a muscle to grow, it basically needs 4 things:

1. Protein
2. Adequate recovery time
3. Using proper form
4. Putting progressive resistants on the muscle(s)

If you can do a certain amount of repetitions with a given weight and maintain proper form, then you need to add on the weights, but move up slowly like 2.5 to 5lbs. at a time.

If you build it they will come

Like large said, Diet, rest, proper form and progressive resistants. You'll need to lift a weight that heavy enough to tax your muscles but light enough that you can use proper form with.
