I will be totally honest, I have not moved very much in the past year at all.
Why? I get sick of the eating (I have been as high as 268 and no higher), and I tried for a long time to stick to "low" doses and it just seems that the bodies checks and balances system doesn't like that. Everyones genetics are different, both naturally and on drugs. I've heard of guys benching 165 and they start juicing, you see the occasional "I've been training hardcore for 3 months and I'm looking for a kick start" stuff, and the people who define dietary knowhow as "I dont eat fast food..."
But anyway, diet diet diet. I am eating more sweet potato and some red potato too, oats in the morning, all that jazz. I am leaning out slightly but I am still light, however I have 19" arms and I'm only in the 240s which for me is step towards good condition rather than soft.
Anyhow, at this point and for some time now in fact, I dont care about being on for longer and taking shorter breaks. So basically I run modest doses but for longer periods. It would be somewhat difficult to even venture a guess because as I eluded to above, I care a lot less about time off than I used to. I might place a guess at 8 cycles or so, maybe I should just say 8-10. I have switched compounds before and still kept going, so again because of that and other things its hard to even say. I remember my first 4 cycles approximately which came from 3 sources. Mex vet stuff, underground, mex vet (after previous guy got busted and somehow got off), then back to underground (a guy that went sour awhile back that everyone knows, ProLINE).
Oh yes then I remember the next guy, who is still around. He got screwed but still made good on orders after losing thousands of his own money. So really about all I can tell you is I like underground or homemade goods, mex vet stuff I mostly left behind, but actual cycles I am not terribly meticulous about in the long term. Plus I dont want too much history on any one machine encrypted or not, so I often delete things when I am through. I am somewhat experimenting on myself at this point with both training and gear, and like I said in another thread recently I'll be trying the heavier doses again to see where it puts me both in the blood and in the lifts/size, I just need to be confident I am ready to lock the diet in FIRST otherwise I'm wasting my time.
When I was doing 5400-6500 calories every day a little over a year ago, I sittin on the throne after each and every meal, 6 times a day. That gold old real fast for two reasons. Time for one, accutane + constant sand papering of your rear end for #2. I think you aren't supposed to bleed back there, so bulking while running accutane was a bad mix, very unpleasant.
Diet diet diet, I hate it but its the limitation for 95% of us. I have been very fortunate to see a couple people beyond me lately and that motivates me, otherwise I get bored and lose focus. Just today going into the gym I had a guy freaking out when I walked in, which is pathetic because I'm not that big of a guy, everyone else is just small. At my old gym we did have big guys, they weren't fat either. We had a guy doing 5 plates for reps on the flat bench who was probably 9% bodyfat or so.
Anyhow.... I run longer these days and I'm about to go back to longer + harder, when I will stop I dont know. I do not think I will ever run some of the doses I hear about but I am not looking to compete as a BB either. I do like stacking though, it is easier for me to control sides in a stack (depending what its made of) rather than trying to do something like run 1.5g of test a week (never done that much) and then go nuts over controlling estrogen and having to worry about what it does to my cholesterol and skin etc
Something weak like equipoise though, I'd run a gram of that a week any old time and I think I may do it again sometime + tren + test.
IGF is the next thing I'm excited to try though, but again, diet first. I need to know I'm ready mentally to stick to it, because I have in the past recorded 2 weeks in a row as an example where I dont gain any weight because of my diet. If you are only eating right 20% of the time, there is very little to get excited about. I wish this whole post was better written but I can't emphasize enough how much diet is your master in this, unless you are one of the rare genetically elite which I am absolutely not. I've gotten stronger over the last year but for the most part no bigger, I yo-yo a bit between my cut and bulks so I'm not my biggest but I am in decent shape for my body at the moment.
I'm just going to leave it there, I'm tired and this is probably a huge confusing ramble.
Diet is your master, there is more to read about diet that will show results than there is about gear for most people. Diet first, gear second, its just a "supplement" not a solution.
BTW how is your diet buddy doing?
