All I need is another 19,500 post and I'll know what you now know and a Mod I shall become. LOL.
Ok On to something different. I would like to know how many cycles you have done in the last 3 Years? Tell us all as we all have faith in you and you look to be in great shape and see a doctor regularly. So how many. If this puts you on a spot delete the post brother.

Do you Hate Me yet? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> PT

I will be totally honest, I have not moved very much in the past year at all.

Why? I get sick of the eating (I have been as high as 268 and no higher), and I tried for a long time to stick to "low" doses and it just seems that the bodies checks and balances system doesn't like that. Everyones genetics are different, both naturally and on drugs. I've heard of guys benching 165 and they start juicing, you see the occasional "I've been training hardcore for 3 months and I'm looking for a kick start" stuff, and the people who define dietary knowhow as "I dont eat fast food..."

But anyway, diet diet diet. I am eating more sweet potato and some red potato too, oats in the morning, all that jazz. I am leaning out slightly but I am still light, however I have 19" arms and I'm only in the 240s which for me is step towards good condition rather than soft.

Anyhow, at this point and for some time now in fact, I dont care about being on for longer and taking shorter breaks. So basically I run modest doses but for longer periods. It would be somewhat difficult to even venture a guess because as I eluded to above, I care a lot less about time off than I used to. I might place a guess at 8 cycles or so, maybe I should just say 8-10. I have switched compounds before and still kept going, so again because of that and other things its hard to even say. I remember my first 4 cycles approximately which came from 3 sources. Mex vet stuff, underground, mex vet (after previous guy got busted and somehow got off), then back to underground (a guy that went sour awhile back that everyone knows, ProLINE).

Oh yes then I remember the next guy, who is still around. He got screwed but still made good on orders after losing thousands of his own money. So really about all I can tell you is I like underground or homemade goods, mex vet stuff I mostly left behind, but actual cycles I am not terribly meticulous about in the long term. Plus I dont want too much history on any one machine encrypted or not, so I often delete things when I am through. I am somewhat experimenting on myself at this point with both training and gear, and like I said in another thread recently I'll be trying the heavier doses again to see where it puts me both in the blood and in the lifts/size, I just need to be confident I am ready to lock the diet in FIRST otherwise I'm wasting my time.

When I was doing 5400-6500 calories every day a little over a year ago, I sittin on the throne after each and every meal, 6 times a day. That gold old real fast for two reasons. Time for one, accutane + constant sand papering of your rear end for #2. I think you aren't supposed to bleed back there, so bulking while running accutane was a bad mix, very unpleasant.

Diet diet diet, I hate it but its the limitation for 95% of us. I have been very fortunate to see a couple people beyond me lately and that motivates me, otherwise I get bored and lose focus. Just today going into the gym I had a guy freaking out when I walked in, which is pathetic because I'm not that big of a guy, everyone else is just small. At my old gym we did have big guys, they weren't fat either. We had a guy doing 5 plates for reps on the flat bench who was probably 9% bodyfat or so.

Anyhow.... I run longer these days and I'm about to go back to longer + harder, when I will stop I dont know. I do not think I will ever run some of the doses I hear about but I am not looking to compete as a BB either. I do like stacking though, it is easier for me to control sides in a stack (depending what its made of) rather than trying to do something like run 1.5g of test a week (never done that much) and then go nuts over controlling estrogen and having to worry about what it does to my cholesterol and skin etc

Something weak like equipoise though, I'd run a gram of that a week any old time and I think I may do it again sometime + tren + test.

IGF is the next thing I'm excited to try though, but again, diet first. I need to know I'm ready mentally to stick to it, because I have in the past recorded 2 weeks in a row as an example where I dont gain any weight because of my diet. If you are only eating right 20% of the time, there is very little to get excited about. I wish this whole post was better written but I can't emphasize enough how much diet is your master in this, unless you are one of the rare genetically elite which I am absolutely not. I've gotten stronger over the last year but for the most part no bigger, I yo-yo a bit between my cut and bulks so I'm not my biggest but I am in decent shape for my body at the moment.

I'm just going to leave it there, I'm tired and this is probably a huge confusing ramble.

Diet is your master, there is more to read about diet that will show results than there is about gear for most people. Diet first, gear second, its just a "supplement" not a solution.

BTW how is your diet buddy doing?

BTW, it hasn't quite been 3 years for me just yet.

wow, mudge... deep. :D

Part of my time issue is hobby-whorism. I am into a lot of things.

i hear that, mudge. fortunately or unfortunately for me, a wife and a child have slowed me down a bit... now i focus on only 4 or 5 things at one time.

i didn't catch that the first time... that is funny.

Very insightful Mudge. Your diet message is very clear, but consuming 6,000+ calories just isn't remotely realistic for me. I would feel crap every waking moment and the stress on my body would be too much. There lies the difference between me and a successful bodybuilder

Great post.

Diet is the problem that a lot of people run into sooner or later. It seems you have run into it later rather than sooner. Diet is such a pervasive factor, given that it is with you 24/7 it seems. Maintenance training is simple in comparison to maintenance dieting.

I believe it was Big Cat on Nandi's board that mentioned he couldn't seem to get his trainees to consistently eat more than about 7500 kcals/day at the very upper limit. It seems for me the bigger I get, the quicker I start noticing satiety signals (if I don't watch really closely I will miss them entirely). For that reason it might work better for you to stay lean and add small chunks of lbm as you go rather than bulk up again like you did. Less satiety and the leaner you are the closer you are to starvation. And that is not even taking into account the digestive issues etc.

At some point if eating x number of calories per day was just something that I dreaded and didn't want to do for the rest of my life (it is hard for me to even imagine the situation), the decision I would probably make would be to either stay the size I am, or do as you do and try using more gear. I take it one of the most likely risks you are taking is just ending up on HRT at a young age.

When raising calories it has to be done in some methodical, gradual way. I have made the mistake of going from a 2500 calorie cutter, to 4800 calories overnight. That is unpleasant, and not that smart. So, a little at a time, for most people I would say 1000-1500 calories is about as heavy as you should step up at any one time ON juice. There is only so fast the human body can add mass, only so much you can eat without puking it up when your stomach has shrunken, and only so much you can hold without it affecting your workouts when your stomach feels full all day long, and so on.

One thing I am good at is eating the same things over and over again, but carb cycling and things of that nature require more thought and "effort." I do get tired of really high calories though, especially if I have a day or two where work is so screwed that I can't eat my regular meals on time, or if I miss a meal there goes half a pound, its LIFE that gets in the way and when the regularity is broken it makes it tough. One way again to make it easier to stick to a diet is no drastic changes, especially for me in terms of caloric totals.

Work is getting in the way of my posting again. :hehe: so I will check in later.

I'm doing pretty good. The nutitionist has me trying to gain LBM while dropping bodyfat. I've been at 235 lbs for about 3 weeks now. I take in 4307 cal's a day but super clean with total fat of only 43.5 grams. Carbs are 564 grams and protein is 415 grams a day. Lots of brown rice, 99% brest chicken, veggies 5 times a day, 2 cups dry oats. No dairy. Haven't cheated either.

Your nutrionist know you're on gear, Tough? Does he speak English down there in Mexico?

Hey Mudge, what kind of work do you do? I know with my old job before I became a trainer I could never get a set schedule and my meals were always screwed.

And the jumping up in dieting is a bitch. I went from 1,800 pre-contest to about 4,500-5,000 now just because I'm enjoying eating again. But fucking-a do I feel bloated.

I can usually eat whenever I want, I am lucky because I have a desk job. BUT, if something is up that requires attention it might be for hours on end, and I hate working on empty. Since my meals are relatively small I run out of energy if I dont eat and I'm working for 6 hours straight or so, hauling my fat ass around campus.

what do you eat at work? sandwiches, shakes and stuff? or have you got some cooking facilities there? that is always the biggest problem for me when i get a job, i'll have these 6-8 hour shifts with maybe 1 break in the middle, when really i need a good 2-3 breaks but that is just impossible, i was working at a restaurant a little while back, i'd do 5-11 right, but no breaks allowed from 7-9, and there was no eating area or staff room, everyone else there used to just take short drink breaks, so that was all i could have, down an MRP before 7, and just starve till i got home, it definately cost me in the progress department, next job i apply for i will specifically tell them about my dietary needs before i get the job, i'm not putting up with crap like that again, other jobs i've been in are the same, i think its what holds of lot of people back, right now at uni its great, i never have more than 2 lectures back to back, so i can eat every couple of hours no problem

Sandwiches? That shit is junk, I love bread but that stuff is just crap. Its possible that some people early in the day could handle that, as you should eat cleaner towards the end of the day. But I dont seem to respond well to breads at all. Its like drinking milk, makes me fat.

Sometimes I heat my food sometimes I dont, I'm not picky. I am worried however that boiled red potato is spiking my blood sugar too high, it only takes me a few minutes to eat, and yes I do shakes at work too. I just have a plastic container and I shake it, I dont use a blender, not worth the hassle.

Yes he's knows I'm on gear. My cycle would had been in larger doses except from him. also He speaks english cause i see him in San Diego. He an American LOL

I too sit on my ass all day long for work. Its a blessing because I can eat and do what I want at work so I have no reason to not eat my food. The other benefit is you don't burn to many calories sitting on your ass so if you miss a meal its not as bad for you as if you were doing construction where you are burning a fair amount of calories all day working. That is also shitty too because sitting there you don't burn shit and so you have to keep things really clean if you don't want to put on weight. Well my body requires clean food to stay lean or lose any BF. I can't mess up especially while at work.

Kind of a blessing, but my metabolism takes a dump this way. I like at least some activity, and most of the time there is very little.

Its like a double edged sword. I know my metabolism suffers from it too. I am going to get more dedicated to doing cardio as much as I hate it.

Cardio is for girls. Ok guys got to go now and as my panty hose just got a run in them from doing 45 min's of Jumping Jacks. split them suckers right in the crotch area. What a sick person I am!
