Weak, smart guy going for cut.

Hey I should be going to sleep now :finger: haha but first off i'm 16, 5'7" 128 :booty: and started lifting in September and having really progressed at all :confused: I joined these forums to get some help on how to get cut and with out hardening my epiphyseal plates :D Learned that one in physiology. But i found em because I was looking for why my left pec is big and is getting the workout when, shouldn't my right get more because it's smaller? I'm a nerd if that's what you wanna call it and I'm tired of everyone calling me weak and saying i don't do anything in weights when i'm progressing but not much. So yeah, i'm a smart guy. I'm in 11th grade in 1st period weights, 2nd physiology, 3rd hon. pre-calc, 4th tv studio 1/2, 5th AP u.s. history, and 6th hon. amer. lit. So i'll be lookin around and asking questions or if anyone experienced wants to give me like a workout thing to do on how to get cut. Here's what i usually do in 1st period, warm up w/ 30 crunches and 20 push ups (everyone does it.) then like i do 3x10 bicep curls w/ 15's, 3x10 tricep curl w/ the extension thing and 20 pounds (i'm sore right now), 3x10 military press w/ 20's :lifter: and other times i do 3x10 bar dips (worrried because only left feels like it's sore after), pull ups 3x5, umm... started doin dumbbells 25's benching instead of the bar (everyone wants me to go higher weights) i just started 95 lbs. and only did like 10, 9, then 6 and people wanted me to go higher. so i just went to the other side doing dumbbells, and isn't that better for my uneven pecs? Ummm i used to do 115 in squats but after winter break, it hurt my upper femur so i stopped (it didn't feel like the muscle). As well as power cleans but i was really weak in that 75 lbs 3x10 so i stopped. So yeah i should be going... Please, anyone, give me a like workout thing to do, but it's kinda late since i joined track. I'm in long jump and high jump, but i trying for hurdles. Not trying for sprints cuz it's kinda sad how i'm a junior and there's freshmen faster than me. Oh yeah and did i mention i'm kind of a loner like this guy :ipoke:

BTW, I have a 16 yr old son that has been training with my hubby and I since he was 13 1/2.

One thing we noticed was that as long as he was in football and running all the freakin time... his legs especially his calves just didn't grow. That was 9th grade. Now in 10th, I trained him on leg day and he actually has some calves now!

So don't give up!!! And remember that it won't happen overnight but it WILL happen :thumb:
