Anyone experienced it? I'm an old member from here but the last 6 months I've had some severe pain in my right shoulder radiating down to my forearm.
My orthopedic originally thought torn bicep but after an MRI that was negative. Got a 2nd MRI of the shoulder to find I have arthritis in my shoulder and an impingement crushing nerves which explains the radiation of pain.
I took 3 months off rested and have been cleared to return to working out. First few workouts light training at 30% and doing low volume full body workouts ad the pain is just as bad as day one!
I can't perform any pushing movements or anything that has my arms extended or behind me. I can't even get the bar on my back for squats.
Has anyone ever experienced this or dealt with it? Any tips or suggestions? My orthopedic said train for 2-3 months and if mo relief come back to a specialist maybe cortisone or scope it out.
I've also done 4 weeks of high doses d Motrin followed up by 4 weeks of Mobic.
