Hey,
I just posted before. Really hard gainer here.. I'm stuck at 142-145 lbs perpertually ever since i've been on a clean diet.. It's hard for me to eat a lot at college, i just don't ahve enough meal plans.. (i struggle to get in 5 a day). Any non-creatine based weightgainers that are helpful, but not to many calories.. (maybe 500 cal's a serving)?

Or would a meal replacement shake be the way to go.

I dislike weight gainers because they are typically packed with sugar. If you can find one that is actually reasonable in terms of the ingredients, then it can't hurt. Otherwise, making your own meal replacements would be best.

Is there any way you can do a little bit of shopping off campus? Supplementing your meal plan with some of your own creations would be a good way to insure extra calories. I know money can be tight for a student. Unfortunately, that is one of the things that holds me back from bulking properly from time to time.

So that's how they pack all those calories in?

Yeah, typically. You could make your own weight gainers. The most common ingredients are whey protein, fruit, oats, peanut butter, healthy oils, and milk.
