I've had to cut my chest workout short twice now because of some strange shoulder pain. I don't believe it's anything like a tear, but about halfway through my workout my shoulders get very ?tight? and painful. It feels like it's on or very close to the joint, but I've never had joint pain that just went completely away within an hour after I stopped working out. It will always be sore for a couple days. Not the case here. I'm hydrated, vitamins are good, diet is good. I'm on 500mg of E. Would that cause the dry joints I've read about while using other things. What are your thoughts? Solutions?

Could be bursitis. Who knows. Rest it a while and if its still painful when you go back to working it, then it's time for an MRI. Shoulders aren't anything to fuck with. Stop using flat bench with a barbell too. Just use dumbbells for a while. Easier on the shoulders.

pain in shoulder is hard to diagnose at first because it radiates down your arm and back so you don't know where the pain comes from...it could be tendinitis, it could be bursitis, it could be any tendon attached to the shoulder (many of them) take it easy for 2-3 days + anti-inflamatory medicine don't mess with it if it hurts badly try to do exercises that do not hurt if pain stays for a long time and no improvement then go to the doctor.
i suffered for more than a year because i was not careful.

do you have a previous shoulder injury? I blasted mine in a motorcycle accident. If I do 2 light sets and warm it up I usually dont have a problem, try taking tricosamine.

I've had a slight left shoulder injury, buy it hasn't bothered my in about a year and a half. What I thought was weird is the pain is equal on both sides and comes on at the same time. luckily the pain doesn't really radiate to anywhere else. Also, the more I think about it I might describe it as a deep burning (not the good kind.)

Are you taking any "pump" supplements, like a NO booster? I had something similar happen, thought I overworked my shoulders, maybe pulled something. Instead, it all went away in about an hour, and everything was back to normal. Happened to me twice, and the only cause I could attribute it to was getting a 'pump' in some of the muscles in my rotator cuff.
