I picked up one of these drives yesterday as I needed to get all my work documents centralized and I needed network storage and mobile access from anywhere. It literally took 2 minutes to get it set up. I highly recommended this product

passport connects directly to your PC/labtop via USB. these new western digital "Live" drives are connected via Ethernet directly to your network. so you can send/receive files to them from any Internet enabled device. as long as the Internet is up your good to go.

I bought one of those things, just a 250gb for music in my car, then I learned it had a special partition that made it unreadable in my car. Otherwise yes they are wonderfully easy devices to use, I use that one to backup my writings and share some current favorite music files. I take it with me when I travel too, just in case I'm stuck someplace with limited or no internet access.
