Maybe someone can answer this and end my curiousity. There is a group of guys at my gym and about a month before a contest I notice their training habits change quite a bit and they are cutting pretty fast. Their skin looks tighter and they seem to lose body fat really fast. I overhear them talking sometimes and it sounds like some of them are feeling kind of rough during this time, like they can't wait for it to be over. I heard one guy talk about having to get up several times during the night. Are they doing something natural or are they taking something to shed some fat?
