Sorry man but the $2 more is too much. You know we have a steady stream of wetbacks here in Texas that will do your job for half that wage.

Ya, but they don't include burial like i do ;)

I thought the skit was :hot: and I saw nothing
offensive about it....

babysitters and nanny's watch more risque stuff on daytime soaps
than this skit has shown....

If that skit was offensive, I guess you'd be complaining
about MALE cheerleaders who have their hand up the short skirts
of female cheerleaders during MARCH MADNESS & NCAA FOOTBALL
(of course this is done while the female
is supported for a cheerleading move)
"Daddy, why is his hand up her skirt?"

There was no nudity, DH is aired at the same time
as MNF, people need to raise their own darn children and not
leave it to TV.

How do you define nudity? She had no clothes on. The only thing missing from the shot was full frontal.

And oh, what an ass that woman has! I wouldn't kick her out of bed.

I didn't see the skit, so I don't know how much they showed, I can't imagine it was much at all.
But there are a lot worse things on TV anyway and have been for decades.

I'm wondering, just as many other people are, just how much of the complaints have to do with race.

Someone in the NFL made the comment, "if the skit had featured Vinnie Testaverde instead of Terrell Owens, there wouldn't be a problem." No it wasn't T.O.
You all can't tell me that you don't notice that in TV and the movies (not real life), that there are more black female/white male relationships than black male/white female.

In my opinion, a large portion of society still doesn't like to see that, and to see it starring football's current "bad boy" just set a bunch of closed minded individuals off.

I don't recall the lesbian kiss between two white women on LA Law years ago making such an impact.

I obviously did not know what the "punch line" was going to be ( her dropping the towel), but as the skit went on, I was thinking that ABC was breaking some new ground here with bringing this black man/white woman seduction thing on national television before a large audience. I did not have any "problems" with that, I thought it a great step forward. My shock more had to do with the dropping of the towel, the full rear nudity and then her jumping into his arms with no warning and that this was being seen by children and their now shocked parents who had no idea or advanc warning that this was going to happen, coming on the heels of what the FCC did to CBS after the Super Bowl nudity incident.

I really don't think race had as much, if anything, to do with the controversy or that it was Terrell Owens ( I think the same uproar would have occurred if the guy was Vinny T or even Tiger Woods) and from what I have read, ABC seems to be saying the complaints had to do with the nudity. I could be wrong and others are free to chime in with their opinions.

And I really don't think it is close minded for a parent who has had this happen to them to be upset or for someone like me who does not have children to still think it was inappropriate to spring that kind of thing on broadcast television without any warning. People who watch cable movies or shows where more risque stuff is shown and it is known what is there or who are watching later shows on broadcast TV and again knowing that more fringe behavior may be seen know what they are getting into. Someone tuning in to watch Monday night football does not ever expect (until now) that something like that will occur.

More Tits & Ass less Blood & Guts or at least a fair balance between the 2. If a hot chick gets blown away at least give her a nude scene prior to it. If Tony the Thug has to get whacked at least make in in the Topless Bar so those who are squeemish to blood can divert their eyes to the rack on the dancer bouncing around all freaked out.

Nudity happens on NYPD blue as well as foul language, yet it was one of the most popular shows on TV, talked about a lot, yes, but nowhere near the controversy as that skit.

20 Years ago there was a made for TV movie called Lipstick, that showed a partially nude woman (possibly with another woman, I don't remember), it did not have the controversy that the skit is getting today.
It didn't receive this type of media attention 20 years ago, so yes, I feel it is closed minded individuals of today.

As others have mention, daytime soaps, and the night time soaps of old (dallas, dynasty), had lots of unexpected material, but not the controversy as that skit.

So many hypocrites (not saying you are one of them) but so many are complaining about what their kids see and hear on TV, then they go home, get drunk, high, beat the crap out of each other, scream, and curse each other out, right in front of their kids, but God forbid they see a partial breast or nude butt on TV.

Oh, excuse me, all of a sudden, full naked rears are
obscene and indecent for television now....

This isn't the first time full rear nudity hasn't been shown on TV
but all of a sudden, it's wrong now; hypocrites PLEASE

Again, this is televised on daytime soaps ALL the time
as well as many other prime time TV shows (NYPD BLUE, ER,..);
there was nothing obscene about that skit.

everyone and anyone who was offended at this just please swallow a bullet b/c we are all so GOD DAMM sicc of your uptight agenda for this ocuntry, just SHUT THE F UP WILL YOU PLEASE!! why is it that when people complain or write letters thta we listen, just b/c soeoen complains we are supposed to immediately jump at what they sya, these people are lunatics. IF YOU DON"T LIKE IT DON"T WATCH, its that simple. Wen need to stop being held hostage by these nutjobs that wanna have us operate at their retarded set of values. What about the normal people that aren't right wing idiots or left wing pussies, huh? what about the normal people out there that just want to live day to day and operate on the basis that we do things that make sense, what are we supposed to do, are we to always sit here and listen to teh constant nonsense and complaining.. can we not just live a normal life. jesus christ. Pick your fights. you A holes are the reason this country is going to hell, just shut up and can we please ignore these retards. thank you
While I agree with you on this one, as the election just showed, more than half the country feels different. The majority right now thinks it is offensive.
So you thinking you are being forced to listen to this way of thinking, all conservatives feel exactly opposite, that your way of thinking is whacked.

Yeah, right; the same majority that think it's offensive,
they are litterred with individuals who compliment the woman's A$$
and wouldn't kick her out of bed....

I don't know about you but I don't compliment something
that I think is offensive

I guess babysitters better beware because they are watching
scenes such as this, on DAYTIME tv, WHILE they're babysitting your kids

I remember when Kim Delaney and Jimmy Smits did a FULL body
nude scene on NYPD Blue and nothing was said
( the scene showed a side view, fully lighted mind you, of
her FULL NAKED body laying on top of his FULL NAKED body,
the scene showed a FULL head to toe shot)

Parents that I know put their kids to bed by 9pm and I'm
pretty certain that on the west coast, at 6pm, kids were eating
dinner or cleaning off the table and both were done in a feverish
manner so that they can go back and play with other kids on the
computer, x-box, or outside playing

Again I say, don't watch the cheerleading moves on the
college hoops or football games when the male has his
hand up the females skirt for support

People should raise their kids and not let tv raise them,
when your child ask you a ?, answer your child truthfully

The whole thing was not only imoral but it was STUPID AND CORNY. Where does ABC get these stupid skits. If this is what it takes to sell football then football needs help.

man this wasnt offensive at all..dont like seein women naked? are u a homosexual or sumthin..whats the big fuckin deal?

I really couldn't care less, I like porn. I don't think kids should be exposed to it though.
I live on the east coast so my kids were in bed.
